@WehrmachtBear Come on, EA made this decision back in May. They had already learned that lesson the hard way, and MS was doing it again. EA is trying to distance themselves as far away from this fiasco as they can. They are currently too busy coming up with new ways to **** us.
I know I can't be the only person that finds it totally hilarious that it hasn't even been an entire 24 hours since MS reversed their previous Xbox One policies.....
Edit: Came back to this article because front page has the update.....no update...
Like I said on another site, it was either do this or give us a price cut. One of these two had to give or they were done for. I think the final straw was trying to put it all off on the publishers.
@shadowdoggg Big cities mean nothing if the majority of owners don't have streetpass on in the first place. I live in one of the larger Tx cities, and their are days I've seen at least 5 people with a 3DS, I get home and only see one tag.
I was in GTMO for a year, while internet was available, it was slow and crappy at times. Most of the guys sent over there are young, and it's pretty cool seeing your SSGT waiting in line to get their hands on the controller for a round of Halo.
@Kraken422 @Falconoffury I think the problem is over generalization. Yes, it may be true that keyboard and mouse is more accurate, but that doesn't automatically mean that everyone that plays with such a setup is automatically better than a console player. Scrubs come in all shapes and forms. It's like the guy that thinks that just because he beat a fighting game on the hardest level, that he will dominate the online arena.
"The decision was borne of a desire to keep the playing fields level, he said."
I want to see the first company that says, "You know what... **** IT!! If PC gamers want to prove how much better mouse and keyboard are, and Console gamers want to say 'yeah, right', LET'S DO IT! We'll spend the money to set up enough servers and offer gamers the choice if they would like to play vs Consoles only, PC only, or Consoles and PC's together."
BTW, in this dream world I'm living in, I've won the lottery, and would also be willing to use some of my $458 million to fund the project.
I think they just have their hands full right now working on 4 different console versions. If the Xbox One and the PS4 are as close to PC architecture as everyone claims, the PC port shouldn't take that long to do of they are so inclined. You'll still get the best version of the game if it comes out.
