New Emblem / New CD / Reilly News

whats up yallllllllllllllllll I'm bere to give ya'll a bit of news. First of all, notice how I've got a brand new emblem! Yep, for watching the Hour of Victory demo. Nice uh? Yep, I actually like getting all sorts of emblems. I should work on getting more of em.

Second news, I've got a brand new CD (it's not really new, the CD is new but it wasn't newly released ya know what I mean?) It's the first album by Tech N9ne which is entitled Anghellic. I now have all 3 albums from the Tecca Nina himself, which is great! You can check out Tech N9ne at TheRealTechN9ne.com like I already posted before when I got his other albums. I know not everybody is found of rap music, but hey, I'm giving ya'll some news.

Reilly news! Yep, I've got something big coming. Reilly (CoolMemberName) asked me to do him a favor. He asked me to post his blogs on MySpace right here on GameSpot. I will do so, he said he wanted to keep in touch with Curtis and Simon (if you guys have MySpace and want to add him, just ask me and I'll give you the link to his profile) so any comments you leave about his blogs, I'll send em to him and I'll post his reply. As of now, I also send him my blogs so he can comment and I post his comments myself. So now that this is out of the way, be prepared cause he has ONE HELL of a long blog up right now so I'll paste it right here:

Reilly's Blog

SP2, Shadow, SSX and Indigo and more PLUS DiRT
Current mood: busy

Ya, so since my GS account sucked and banned me I ended up here. Yup, I ACTUALLY will be coming here on a regular bases. Weird, huh?

So, this is my first blog on here in who knows how long. Since Fetus will probibly be the only person checking for myblogs on a semi-regular basis, I guess my blogs willbededicatedto Fetus (Fetus Zero). Anyone else reading these (Trent, Sarah or Annika?) I would much appreciate hearing from you guys.

So, as of late, I have been delving into the PS of the 2's archive and finding a plethera of awesome old games. To list some:

Indigo Prophecy (You just killed someone, you have no idea why but you need answers. How will you run from the police since you play the killer AND the detectives?)

SSX Tricky (Snowboarding that begs to question, "Gravity does what? And what the hell is this 'Physics' you speak of?")

Shadow of Destiny (You just died, you are given a chance to change this but in order to do this you must minipulate time. How will you minipulate time and what will be the devistating effects? A MUST BUY!)

Dark Cloud (Everyone on the face of the earth has disappear and now you must save them. You rebuild the world in YOUR image. ANOTHER MUST BUY!)

Steambot Chronicles (Mech fights, finding love, playing music and regaining your memory. On top of it all it is very light hearted and has nice humor.)

Beyond Good & Evil (Sweet characters, awesome setting and cool story of conspirisy and a reporter finding the truth)

Ico (Not much of a story to speak of but makes for it with a beautiful setting and amazingly well done puzzles. If you haven't played this PS2 ****c then you need to be shot. Seriously, buy it. NOW)

Shadow of the Collosus ( Made by the team that made Ico. It is emotionally powerful, another beautiful free roam land and you climbing a 10 story tall collosus and killing it. That was the first enemy too.)

Silent Hill series (It is twisted, disturbed and has a incredibly deep story with great twists. Be forewarned that this is not Resident Evil. This is far scarier.)

Yup, those games are musts for people owning a PS2.

Aside from the PS2 the XBox has awesome ****cs too. I will give you a quick overview.

Jet Set Radio Future (Amazing graffiti art and cell shade with astounding music that even after years of playing it off and on NEVER gets old. Even thinking of it makes me feel like singing the songs out loud.)

Ninja Gaiden (Yup, I beat. The game is freaking hard as all get out but man is it rewarding once you beat it. Beautiful fighting mechanics, awesome graffics and Rachel. She defy's the natural order and physic's all at once.)

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (It is a prequal to PitchBlack and the movie Chronicles of Riddick. In the movies they talk about him escaping from a place called Butcher Bay. It was supposedly a inescapible prison and in the game, you break out. It was incredibly well made and mixed action and stealth well too.)

Splinter Cell (Sam Fisher...nothing more must be said.)

Psychonauts (Young kids with psychic powers are sent to a summer camp to become Psychonauts. Psychonauts are highly respected psychic cops more or less. In the game you venture into the minds of other campers and venture though their unique psychi's to find why other campers are disappering and what is up with all the meat lying around?)

Fable (Yes, much was promised for the game but more than half was not delivered but the game still managed to be fun even the third time through. The game managed to be unique even with the limitations.)

Dues Ex: Invisible War (Saying it it fast confuses people. Aside from that, the game is very political and you may even need to grab a dictionary now and then but WOW the story was absolutely incredible. It was very well written and makes you feel smarter by playing it, haha. The game is about you choosing what you must to survive as you are pulled into a political war between two fighting factions. You must choose to kill who you believe desirves it and team with what side you belive is doing the right thing. What you do and who you kill with change the outcome in the end. It has a 1984 thing going for it)

Freedom Fighters (This game... I have yet to bore of it. Everything in it oozes godly. The Russian opera music, the epic fight of you and about 200 people fighting to take back New York from the invading Russia and the never ending replay value. This is my most favorite game of all time. If you own a Xbox, buy it.)

Ok, that be my list. Also I want to take a moment to talk about DiRT. DiRT is up and coming 360, PS3 and PC game that looks and plays like the sweetest honey. I'm not sure what I just said but it sounded good in my head. Hm, most ideas do. Anyways, I actually am holding it in my Demo section on my 360 and have played it atleast 30 times. It OWNS! I can't believe I am so addicted to it. You must play it.

Halloween!

So I've come around buying more Halloween movies! First of all, know that I worked on sunday. So yep I asked for more money cause it's on a sunday muahahaha. So with part of that "bonus", the way I call it, I went and bought more Halloween movies. The Micheal Myers curse is growing bigger than ever on me! I bought Halloween IV, V and VI. Yep, 3 movies. Halloween 4: The Return of Micheal Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Micheal Myers were at a usual price for DVDs, but Halloween 6 (respectively known as Halloween: The Curse of Micheal Myers, since the 6th title doesn't sport the number "6" anywhere) was pretty cheap.

So that's bout it. Here how goes my Halloween series so far:

  • Halloween
  • Halloween II
  • Halloween 4: The Return of Micheal Myers
  • Halloween 5: The Revenge of Micheal Myers
  • Halloween: The Curse of Micheal Myers

I haven't got my hands on Halloween III so far, not that it matters, since Halloween III isn't part of the "Micheal Myers saga". Halloween III is about something like souls trapped in halloween masks that make kids do stuff ya know..some kind of "I wear this mask and am now possessed by the demon" stuff. If you make some research (for those who don't know anything about the movies Halloween) you will easily find about the third title not being part of the series.

So I now have 2 movies left to buy which are the 7th and 8th titles, respectively known as Halloween: 20 Years Later (more known as H20) and Halloween: Resurection (although alot of people thought that one was disapointing, I liked it alot).

Oh and Simon, I took the time to reply to your comment on my boredom post this morning, I didn't expect to go buy them movies today, but hell, I did. So you can check my reply to your comment if you'd like.

Finally got a car!

Yep, for 500$ canadian! I mean at that price, I don't really mind if the car doesnt last me forever. I've got a Toyota Tercel 1990 or something. It drives well, a few little things might need reparation but really not much. so yep thats bought it. I finally got a car for cheap that is worth the price. Muahahahaha.

New PS2 Game!

Man did I ever KNEW I shouldn't of enter that EBGames when I went get my girlfriend at her job. But I had 30 minutes to waste and decided to spend that half hour in the EBGames. Now, everybody knows when entering a video game store that you have many choices in which the choice of not buying anything doesn't exist. It's always the choice between 2 or more games. But the "not-buying-anything" choice doesn't exist. So I looked upon the games, hoping to find maybe Fatal Frame II used, knowing used would be cheaper, but nothing. So I ended up with 2 choices..either buy Okami or Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. Okami being more expensive since they had VP2 with a special price, I went for VP2.

All this to lead that my new game for PS2 is Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. I've red many critics, heard alot about the game. Some say it is good, some say it doesn't live up to the first title, some say it is better, some say it is bad. Since I usually don't pay much attention to the critics, I decided to try it out and bought it. I mean anyway, with Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (I only have the PSP remake of the original PS1 game, but I don't think they are that much different) being such a good game, an amazing game, the sequel (which is in fact a prequel I believe) just CAN'T be as good as the first one. So now I'm getting stuck with more and more games to finish, more or less like I was back this winter. Hopefully I'll beat any of my currently playing games so I can get rid of some of em, I suspect Kingdom Hearts II to be the first game I'll finish off my list. I know that Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Mortal Kombat: Unchained have been in my list forever, but it's only because I play em once in a while since I don't have as much time with my video games than I would hope for and since KHII have pretty much been eating my entire gaming time.

Soon enough though I should finish one of em and give ya'll a review, although I doubt anybody actually reads my reviews lol.

and yet..another movie!

For 10 bucks! This was my weekend purchase. I usually buy one thing each weekend, and for 10 bucks, I did it right away. I've now got Halloween II muahahaha. I only miss 3-4-5-6-7-8 but I doubt I'll get Halloween III since it has absolutly NOTHING to do with the series. Halloween III is an entire different movie and doesn't even have **** to do with the killer we all love (anyway that I love) Micheal Myers, so why get it if it doesn't even take place in the actual series? Anyway, Halloween II picks up exactly where the first movie left off. So yep. Plus it was for a cheapo price. 10 bucks canadian. Anyway this don't really have the choice of being my weekend purchase since my pay of today goes into my rent and into the bank. I doubt I'll ever get that movie again for 10 bucks, first time I saw it that cheap. So I'm slowly building up my Halloween collection, someday I'll have all of em. Guess what I found else but didn't buy cause it was 20 bucks? Children Of The Corn. The first movie. I own Children of The Corn II but NEVER found any of the other 6 movies. I don't know if ya'll are familiar with Children Of The Corn (many people think that movie sucks but I damn love it!) cause most people I talk about it to didn't even know there was 7 movies in that series. At the store they had Children of the Corn 1, V, 666 and Revelation (which is the 7th title). So I grew a new hope for being able to find the other movies aside the second title, so eventually I'll also build my Children of the Corn collection. I thought I'd never find ANY of the other movies so I never thought about building up that one series, but now I've got 2 series to build up absolutly: Halloween and Children of the Corn. Of course, Halloween is my priority over Children of the Corn.

So let's put it down for the series I need to build up:

Halloween (I miss III, IV, V, The Curse of Micheal Myers, H20, Resurection)

Children of the Corn (I miss I, III, IV, V, 666, Revelation)

Amytiville (one day I'll eventually buy that box set)

and maybe Nightmare on Elm Street, though I'm not sure since the movies after the first title weren't as good.

Reilly died..

..Only his account though! He didn't die for real, but hell even his new account got banned. I gotta say it feels empty without my Reily around. I don't mean ya'll other are useless, Ya'll each and every single one of you fill a space in here for me and I wouldn't want any of you to be banned either! So people: don't get banned! What am I gonna do if all my GS buddies start being banned? Will I end up being alone? Man this sucks. I really wonder what he did for GameSpot to hate him so much. I better watch what I say and do from now on I wouldn't wanna lose all my precious work done on GS. That being said, I knosw I've had alot of posts deleted back then for cursing too much, but ya'll probably realised that I curse much less lately. I wonder if they could ban me for cursing too much mm...makes me wonder. REILLY!! COME BACK TO LIFE!!! lol when I think bout it it's pretty funny to get 2 accounts deleted in a row.

Yet another CD + Movie!

That's right! Another new CD and I also got a movie!

The CD is Droppin' Bombs by the group called Subnoize Souljaz (the group is formed by every artists on Suburban Noize records like Kottonmouth Kings, Dirtball, Judge D, etc). I've been lookin up to find that CD for a while, it is their second release. I have yet to put my hands on their first release but eventually I'll end up ordering it, You can listen to samples of Droppin' Bombs right HERE.

KillingRemmie, I know you don't like that type of music (from my previous post) so, you don't have to click it lol.

As for my movie, I bought the Halloween 25th Anniversary Edition DVD. Hell yeah! Since there doesn't exist a box set featuring most of the movies Halloween (it did back then in Europe, but the box set was limited and is now out of print and doesn't exist anymore), I plan on going up the hill and buy movie after movie for this spectacular horror series. I now have Friday The 13th Collection (art 1 to 8, since any Jason Voorhees movies release after those weren't part of the Friday The 13th series and sucked anyway), I work my way on getting all of Halloween movies too. They are my two favorite horror series of all time, my favorite serial killers ever. They kill with brutality. Make sure you never get in their path! I can't manage to find the trailer for the first movie, all I can find is the new remake of Halloween directed by Rob Zombie, therefore I will not post a link to this movie's trailer..obviously since I can't find any. Anyway, who the **** doesn't know Halloween!?

New CD!

So a couple weeks ago I went to HMV and ordered myself a CD. They finally received it! It sure took em a while.

So I went grab it yesterday evening, I now have the Cd Absolute Power by Tech N9ne! Man do I ever love Tech N9ne. Well that's bout it. hat's my news for today. Woop, short blog.

To anyone who'd like to know who is Tech N9ne, click right HERE

New UMD Movie!

Yep! Up to 7 UMD movies for my PSP!

This time around, I got the amazing movie "Pitch Black" for pretty cheap. Although I don't watch UMD movies all that often, I still do by times and I still love building up my collection of it. This is a rather short blog, but who cares?

If you want more news, me and my girlfriend are kinda being slow in our relation. Things are cheesy, stuff we both don't really understand. I figure this is the point of the relation where most people give up ya know, the breaking point, the point that if you surpass it together, you live a happy life. Every couples have had this breaking point sometime in their relation and I think this is ours. I hope we can go through it together, we are strong and we support each other and we find ways to improve our life together.

 That's all folks!
