I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I'm guessing you know as much about Emo and you do about Hip-Hop.

2) Their lyrics are contrived and poorly written. "I love you like a fat kid loves cake" - was a lyric in a best selling rap single. Enough said.

Yeah it is as easay as clicking random notes on a computer. Mick jagger sings which takes talent. Rappers speak in their normal voices while rhyming. Theres a difference.

It's not easy, you just don't have a clue about rap. You're basing your opinion on mainstream music. Actually listen to the music before you form your opinion.

Playing an instrument is making music, rap is more like poetry than music.

Most mainstream rap sucks - just like mainstream rock sucks.

There are plenty of great hip-hop artists around. Listen to K'Naan and then tell me rap is all about b*tches and bling. Anybody who says "rap takes no talent" is just ignorant.
