No, this game was in progress before 12 actually finished. its stated in one of the interviews but im too lazy to find :P. 13 was actually started off as a ps2 game but then later shifted to ps3 during the pre production phases so i think its actually very close to being finished. well atleast the japanese version. My guess. and im actually pretty sure is that FF13 will come out either Holiday 08 for *** and Q2 2008 for US or it will be Q2 2009 *** and HOLIDAY 09 for US LATEST.

Well, most normal people, which doesn't seem to include PS3 fanboys and wii fanboys, will probably not even be thinking about it. Beyond a few sad posters on this forum, I really don't see anyone biting their nails over it. I suppose most will probably do what they do when any other product warranty runs out: Pay for repairs, if they need to. I just spent $900 putting a transmission in my 2004 corolla. I did have it for 4 years/138,000 miles.
Oh, nevermind. Sorry. You were probably expecting everyone to admit regret over purchasing one of the greatest next-gen game consoles...

Anyways I am pretty sure MS has thought of this before they implemented the 3yr policy. Im thinking its probably because they will announce a new RROD free SKU after the 3 yr policy is up.

Yes, but it was stated that because of the new engine developed for the game. They are now able to seamlessly blend cgi with real in game gameplay to make it as lifelike as never before. This is also Sqaure, who no matter if you love/hate their games you have to acknowlege they are the kings of cgi and graphics.
and to the person that said the pic with the menus was confirmed cgi. I want to see a link or its fake because you can easily tell it is not cgi. and when i mean EASILY i mean it. Just look at all the jaggies around the character.

Thats a good point, and while im not entirely sure im thinking PD would have told the media about the failure to add those features way before the game was set to release which happens alot with games due to time constraints. I remember FFX on the ps2 was suppose to have some online features for weapons but that got scrapped and nobody complained(was still a AAAe game) and so did FFXII with the ability to control an airship which also got scrapped ( again still an AAAe game). So as long as the end result is something great such as the GT series I dont think its too big of a deal.
