Here's something that I just thought of (totally off topic). Now this game is allegedly coming out for the Wii U which is great news.....and it's also coming out for the PS3 and 360 which has been confirmed. The problem I see here is that so many games are coming out for the PS3 towards the end of the year....then you have the rumored release of PS4 with games. Now what happens when the PS4 games compete with the PS3 games later this year? Either way despite how good the games will be some games are gonna suffer....I guess it's a question of weather or not it's on PS3 or PS4.
I love Sony and I'm really looking forward to this announcement tomorrow.....but as a consumer and gamer I expect to see reasonable prices and more game variety besides an onslaught of polished shooters for this new generation.
@WingChopMasta @Bjwalker1371 The problem is developers need to start taking chances and release games on the system. In all this hoopla the only people who aren't making excuses is Nintendo. They just want to try different things and the industry doesn't.
@Bjwalker1371 I'm glad you brought that up, true we are getting to a point where graphics alone won't be able to sell. However gamers everywhere want more power and companies are gonna give it to them. The problem however is that with all that power developers and gamers want comes little imagination. And despite all these things that a faster processor can bring, we are going to be treated to another wave of (shoot'em up, shoot'em up and after everything is dead shoot'em up some more) games. Game sales don't lie!!!
