Blah blah blah, empty threats from the EU. All these people just talk, but most of these EU leaders have their lips so far up the US's collective ass that nothing will happen. So yes, this is the response that EU citizens expect, but I'm willing to bet a brand new Ferrari that nothing will come of this...it will just fade like all other news stories, even if it is confirmed to be true.
I still find it sad that we need tutorials but remember that most devs think modern gamers are f*cking idiots. (And they're right to some degree)tagyhag
Well some games surely need them. For instance, try playing the total war games without a tutorial for the first time. Those games are so massive they should come with a free Prima guide lol :P
Yeah, I'd much rather just read through the instruction booklet that comes with the game. Too bad those are slowly become nothing more than 3 pages worth of contact information.

OMFG SO TRUE! Just the other day I whipped out my old copy of Twisted Metal Black. Now THATS an instruction manual. Thing is like 40 pages long, well made has character bios, is written in the form of a journal...thing is epic. Then I go over to TLOU. The manual looks like those lose papers you find that have random adverts on them.
It's a magazine that needs to sell copies, having controversial shit in it and on the cover helps achieve that goal.Â
Also makes me wonder if this was written before or after the X1 turn arounds

Same thing im wondering too. But on another note, to the people bashing Edge for writing this...wouldnt them censoring their opinion for fear of reprisal from a group of gamers make them less credible? If this is how they really feel...shouldn't they just say it?
Ouch thats a harsh cover.. was it made before MS announced they were dropping all the DRM nonsense? And on another note, I leave GS for 10 days and both Timbers and ShoulderOfOrion change their avatars :P
That reminds me, Mafia 1, PC version only (they nerfed it in the Xbox version), the race level. That level was so finnicky and cheap. I hated it with a passion!
Well I wouldnt call it worst level design, but definitely one of the worst times during a game is the first hour or so of the new Tomb Raider. Don't get me wrong, I love that game, but the first hour was so horribly paced and so boring that it just gave the completely wrong impression of the game. Luckily, if you suffer through it, you get another 7hrs+ of excellent gameplay
