My PC has a software-render for a graphics card (ie. the hardware is non-existant), yet despite being lame, it plays the original Half-life, System Shock 2, Deus Ex, Clive Barker's Undying, Warcraft 3, and some other classics. Though it can't run some of the better recent games, it works fine for me, and that's all that matters........*giggles incoherently*

I can't force myself to like any of the GTA games.....or God of War. Though I love Devil May Cry 1 & 3.
Despite really liking me some JRPGs, I simply cannot grasp why everyone thinks Chrono Trigger is the best game ever. I don't hate it, I just think they could've slapped the name 'Final Fantasy' on it and it would've been much of a muchness. On a side note, multiple endings was done before it, so that wasn't a major innovation on its part.
And......until last week, I shamefully admit to never playing Mario 64. How I hate myself for that, it beats nearly every other platformer I've ever played.
I was excited since I first heard of it. SUDA 51 directing the story + what seems to be DMC-styled gameplay = WIN. Even if the gameplay's only sub-par, the story alone will probably be worth it.
[QUOTE="Jagazaar"]Wasn't Ray designed as a 'Metal Gear killer' though? As in, uses superior mobility and close-range firepower to take out Rex variants? :P

Perhaps so, but Ocelot is driving Ray and he sucks at driving. He can't even parallel park a Metal Gear, what a noob.
He can't park? Well that's just silly of him. I mean, he has a Metal Gear for crying out loud!
Ray: *smashes cars out of parking spaces, or just stands on them*
Traffic Cop: Hey! What do you think you're doing?!
Ray: *looks at cop, makes metallic roaring noise, faceplate opens to reveal laser cannon*
Traffic Cop: Ummm...oh. Err, well, carry on!
[QUOTE="jonesy1911"]I can't wait to see rex and ray duke it out, you know rex will win..... it just has too.fuzzysquash
Hell yeah, Rex > Ray.
Ray looks more feminine and Rex looks more masculine. Plus, Snake's driving Rex.
Wasn't Ray designed as a 'Metal Gear killer' though? As in, uses superior mobility and close-range firepower to take out Rex variants? :P

So, apparently it seems MGS4 will be more action-oriented than other games in the series. As a MGS fan who's played (and loved) all the previous games in the series, I think this will be an interesting change, quite possibly for the better.
Does this make you more keen for the game? Think Hideo's ruining the essence of MGS? Still believe it will just be all cutscenes, no gameplay? What's everyone's thoughts on this?
(Dunno how to link, sorry.)
