I hope that's true. The side quests in DAI were a mess and it wasn't just in the Hinterlands. Every quest outside of the character and mains quests were empty and meaningless. So fingers crossed they took a page out of the Witchers book....
So....by the sounds of it, it's going to be similar to the system they used in the newer Dragon Age games. Especially with the tonal options. That always felt rather weird and restrictive to me in its own way.
Oh well, I hope it works out. The thing I liked about the paragon and renegade options is that it offered you options within those choices, so there was still that decision of how I want to express myself. Hopefully those tones are integrated with the agree and disagree options and not just its own thing for different types of conversations.
I think people should give her a chance before writing her off. I don't think them using the term "goofy" is that big of a deal. That could just be their own interpretation and it is only supposed to be one aspect of her personality. I'd even describe Tali as goofy at times, people loved her. I see her compared to Sera from DA, which I'm not really seeing (from the previews anyway). Sera was exceptionally obnoxious and I'd describe Sera more as childlike than just goofy.
As far as looks go, people need to give it a damn break. Get over it. She doesn't even look that bad and even if she does, who the hell cares. Surely there are more important things to worry about, even in regards to just this game.
I'm not too impressed yet. Xenoblade 2 could be good (eventually) I guess, but for me that seems to be it. Zelda I can just get on my WiiU and personally nothing else is much of a system seller. It'll probably be the next console by the time we get another Zelda...
At the moment, the only thing that's going to get me on board with the Switch is the games and for me they still need to up their effort in that department. I'm hoping for good reveals before it comes out....
@lilhurk1985187: If it were another year, I might agree with you. But from my perspective, nothing has really been a standout this year. UC4 was solid game, with an enjoyable story, that did a pretty good job of wrapping up the series.
I wish you could choose a few, I feel like that that'd be more accurate.
I was tossing up between Uncharted 4 and Dishonored 2. Personally, enjoyment wise, I think this year I ended up enjoying Fire Emblem the most, which is sadly missing from the list....
I feel like I might really like the Last Guardian, but I haven't had the chance to play it yet. But STILL no Deus Ex? C'mon Gamespot, obviously you didn't like it, but at least give people an option to choose it.
