I think it's amazing how they manage to sell 12M of that crap. I mean, this "virtual pet" fad should have ended with the tamagochi fever. Put the resources into making real games for god's sake. lordxymor

I think it's amazing, too! I mean, people don't REALLY like those games. They must be brainwashed. I mean, what's with all those sidescrollers, too? I mean, shouldn't this "Mario" fad have died with Super Mario 3 on the NES? Make some real games!

one game can't a kill system or handheld plus aren't the two pokemon out right for the DS that's not a pearl and diamondflashattackfina

Pokemon can. So can Dragon Quest, especially since both those games sold like candy in the nintendo-dominated, pre-PSP era.(Nintendo still dominates, case in point)

If you can make the system fit into my hands more comfortably, give it more battery life, and give it some non-ported games, then I'd buy one. The PSP has to stand out against the DS in several BIG ways. Right now, I can't really think of any major advantages that appeal to me (movie playing is meh).

Bread_or_Decide, do you actually have a relevant point to post?

You bash Nintendogs because it is a dog sim?

I bash GTA because it is a crime sim.

I bash NFS or Grand Turismo for being a driving sim.

I bash Tekken, DOA, VF, etc for being a fighting sim.

Your logic is flawed to the core, and all your posts reek of fanboy-ism. Please be quiet. We all know that you hate the Wii. Good for you. Be quiet.

Super Smash Bros is a great fighting game. That should be enough if your into fighters.

shungokustasu

1 game is not enough.. DOA, tekken ,and virtua fighter own smash brother by a mile. to add to that you can play mortal kombat 3, mortal kombat 2, street fighter 2 online. i love fighting games more than anything.

Smash brothers is the best fighting game there is. ALTHOUGH its not a "true" fighting game like DOA,Tekken, Virtua Fighter and such. Its basically in its own category. "True" fighting games are on a decline and just arent as fun as they used to be.

pfft. Fighting games are an art you'll never understand.

Guilty Gear X on the XBOX is all the "art" I'll ever need. SSBM will do fine for me.

[QUOTE="Shazenab"][QUOTE="SpaceDragonMan"]I guarantee you if you put those series on the Console they won't even sell half as much as on the DSSpaceDragonMan

Wii Sports.

HMMMMMMM, I wonder why a game thats included with every system would sell so much? what could it be? is it so popular? we will never find out.....

I think he said it to point out that Wii Sports sold the system for many people. Who knows? We will never find out...

Sigh.....goodbye plot, goodbye depth, goodbye characters, goodbye complexity, goodbye intelligence, goodbye three dimensionality, goodbye games for me.

Here comes Nintendo's revolution.

Bread_or_Decide

Hello excercise, hello girlfriend-who-now-like-to-play-games, hello characters (Nintendo franchise. You kidding me?), hello complexity (SSX:Blur), hello intelligence (lol. Big Brain Academy), hello three dimensionality (what the heck do you even mean?), goodbye sitting-in-your-basement-alone, goodbye it-needs-to-be-gory-to-be-good, hello the future of games.

Here comes Nintendo's revolution.

Yeah, they sell millions to 8 yr old boys and girls (nin dogs)......Would you honestly pay $50-$60 for anyoe of these games on a console.  To put them at say a Halo caliber like you said is diesprespectful to Halo.MikeE21286

Fanboy.

What makes Halo a "Halo caliber" game? Is it because it's a sweet shooter? None of the above mentioned games are shooters, so what you're saying is, "My genre of games is the best!", which is an opinion.

Nintendogs and BB sold to lots of adults, actually. It shows how much you track the market...
