Microsoft was garbage. I would've been more impressed if they would've looped techno music synced with strobe lights for their press conference versus have someone come out on stage and speak out their a$$ for an hour.

No one is forcing you to buy into the next gen. Just because they come out with new hardware, doesn't mean they are going to pull the plug on whatever your prefered gaming medium is.

They have to contend with the Wii U and the growing PC market. They can't do that by waiting around.

Actually, it is they are selling less hardware and games than they were last year and the year before. It's only going to get worst once Wii U hits shelves.

It is being maxed out. You can't expect more from 256mb of system memory and an outdated mediocre graphics card referenced from a 2005 design.

Developers tend to run out of recources fast on this gen of hardware. They have to come up with clever ways to get the most out of current hardware and they've been doing this already for the last 3 years. Ps3 and 360 are brick walled as far as higher performance is concerned.
