The game doesn't look that bad. Love the sword cutting mechanic ala shadow warrior (luckily we are getting a shadow warrior 2)

BC would of been good at launch, not 2 years after launch. Also it's not full bc. If you want to play your old games keep your old systems.. simple as that.

@FireEmblem_Man: The problem is the games i listed aren't on the compatible list either. Its a toss up gamble if any of my classics will work on the new os. I don't want to retire my windows 7 pc that plays them all fine for one that only 3 out of 50 games work. There are 10000s of games, where are they on this list?

Old code should work if it worked on win7, unless they removed functionality which would limit compatibility (like when windows 98/me went to windows xp/2000.

The publishers have nothing to do with it. Hell Interplay, Origin, Troika, Westwood, even Aces Ensemble and FASA (ms studios) etc are not even around anymore. Gaming on PC should be preserved for years to come. That is one of the benefits of playing games on pc... there is no generations.. Full bc, and if it's not a thing than that is a problem. There shouldn't even be a list in the first place. IT should just work.

This isn't xbox bc with lists and compatibility shit. this is pc gaming.. MS has had its head up the xbox ass for too long... hell the writing was on the wall when at that pc e3 conference phil "yeah I like pc gaming, but not really" spencer announced to waiting fans that you could play some xbone games on pc, but nowhere was there actaul new games like freelancer, age of empires etc.... (also not on the list)... I don't believe things MS says in a post Gates run company.

Mass effect 2 was never an rpg... Only people who aren't fans of rpgs and just like space shooters call it an rpg because of the quasi decision making. RPGs have inventory, and stats that determine outcome... MAss effect 1 was an RPG, like Alpha Protocol was (also a game that is very underrated), but MAss effect 2 is not. And if fallout 4 doesn't have skills or stats it won't be an rpg either and I will boycott the game.

@charizard1605: Some of these games are not even rpgs... FTL is a strategy game, Mass effect 2 and dark souls aren't really rpgs...

although I am glad they added some obscure games that people on this site wouldn't ever know about or play...

Avernum escape form the pit is amazing indie baldurs gate type game and Pool of Radiance is a classic gold box dnd game from the 80s... Brouge is a newish ascii roguelike with a unique style.

That being said, a great list of games but why is there now Japanese style rpgs? I lump them together. I don't like the trend since last gen of calling them jrpgs... it was never jrpg until the 360 came along. In fact I don't ever remember hearing that word until then. Before that everything was just RPG.

@freedomfreak: dmc4 special edition last month with borderlands col in April. Got metro redux and last of us last year. Will probably get dishonored as well.

Oh crap... Forgot I got tomb raider and GTA 5 as well... Sad thing is I owned every one of these rereleases except for half of borderlands(but own that game 3 times ps3 ps4 and vita) then there are the ps1 and ps2 games I got on pan that I already own plus games on steam sales that I had years before in box version.. I guess I'm a big sucker for good games cheap on newer systems

Yep... been a plus member since it's inception and have tons of games well over 200 from it... for $50 a year, which you need for online anyway on ps4..so why wouldn't you do it. It only doesn't make sense for people who only play 1-2 exclusives on the ps4...but if that is the case why buy the console in the first place...

For someone like me who owns a PS3, PSvita, and PS4 it fucking rocks!!! And it's still cheaper than xblive...
