PC games are sooooo much cheaper :D

Since we have so many threads telling lies about how PC gaming costs about a billion I made this new thread so simply prove that PC gaming as a platform is the cheapest one by a country MILE.

Console gamers think that PC gaming cost so much more cause you have to shell out a little bit more at the start to get a good gaming PC. A Console such as PS3 which cost around $399 is a little bit cheaper than a good PC which can cost you about $100 to $200 more. So You can spend up to $600 to get a good PC, prices may vary depending on what hardware you get etc.

OK so you pay a little bit more at the start but the long-term cost becomes less cause you pay less for PC games. Usually this can be $10-$15 less for the same game as on consoles. $10 dosen't sound much of a saving but since you most of you will buy 20-30 maybe even 40 games during the whole generation that savings adds up alot, dependings on ammount of games you buy. Buying 30 new games on PC can save you up to $300 compared to consoles since consoles games cost more for some weird reason.

Not to mention that you can get more mileage out of PC games due to mods etc. Many games get additional content due to the online community for free. Plus PC platform can be used for everything not just gaming so in effect PC gaming is cheaper over a whole generation.

Fanboys need to get their facts straight.

Titan Fenrir TTC-NK85TZ and OCZ Vendetta 2 are really good. Can't go wrong with these coolers. Don't know how much the cost in the US since I live in europe. Here they cost around £30

Intel released Pentium E6500K which has an unlocked multi to compete against AMD X2 550. Pentium E6500K runs at 2.93Ghz stock with 2MB L2 Cache.

Currently it only has been released in China but will probably release in Europe & US.

When you play games and then they start to freeze to you see/hear the hard-disk starting to work? If that's the case then we can be pretty sure that you are either runing out of RAM, or that their is something wrong with the RAM itself. Since you are using Vista I would say that the 2GB of RAM is not enought and when you are playing games the computer has to access the hard-drive since your RAM is all taken up.

Just upgrade to 4GB and Kingston is a good brand.

Nah not now, in the future you will see the benefit but as for now I don't think there is any game that need more than 4GB of ram

Israel is diging its own hole. They are surrounded by countries that hate them and instead of trying to make some sort of peace with them, they are using force to to dominate the region. All that they are doing by their actions is making more terrorists and more enemies. In the end this will end bad for israel because they will simply get outnumbered. Israel thinks that they will have an upper hand in terms of military power in the region for thousands of years to come but sooner or later things change, the balance of power changes, it always has looking back at history. Noone can be the strongest forever....

Good news I guess. I am dissapointed that we have to pay so much more for exacly the same system as in the US. In europe the price will be 300 euros and in US it will be 300 dollars. I think we can be pretty sure of a slim PS3, sony has always designed a slim version of the playstations and since many rumors on many different websites such conforms it. Sony will release slim version with lower price in order to prepare for the holiday season.

Still I am sick of having to pay $100 more for the same sh*t.
