Hey, nuke, perhaps if you engaged your BRAIN from time to time, you might just realise that just because you don't like something doesn't mean that its wrong and that there's a massive conspiracy.

What's even more worrying than the water shortage is that the rising sea level will contaminate many sources of water with salt.

Nuke's talking nonsense as usual; we have evidence of a consistant rise in levels of carbon dioxide for the last 60 years, so how he can claim things are better than in the 1930s is beyond me. the only environmental concern to change this way is air pollution.

Nuclear fusion would be the ultimate aim for renewable energy, and is not far off. It could become commercial in the next 30 years. There are a lot of problems with fission, such as nuclear waste, that still do not have an adequate solution, so is perhaps not the moste viable nuclear fuel at present.

Ha, I just saw that one of Nuke's references is FOX news. I will never take anything he says seriously ever again... wait, I never did anyway.

It makes me laugh when suporters of ID say that evolution teaches people that they are dirt. I alays thaught that that was what genesis 2 taught.

I'd not call it fact. I'd call it theory.Godly_Cure

Can you please look up the definition of a scientific theory? I've already explained this once on another thread.

Charles Darwin was actually studying to be a vicar when he set off on the Beagle and ended a tortured agnostic after the death of his daughter, so I very much doubt that he would crap on the bible.

It's not a fact or a law because it can't be proven. There's no way to observe a species over that amount of time.soldier-dark

Thats when we use fossils!

Just llok at archaeopteryx, that clearly shows transition, and we have fossils for all the main stages of the evolution of the modern horse.

[QUOTE="Mr_Mohawk"]

You have read genesis 2, havn't you? Where all the animals are created by God to find a helper for Adam? How is that not contradicted by evolution?

LJSEXAY

Can you prove that God was not the guiding force behind the evolution? No. So there is no problem inbelieving both.

Look, if you are sensible there is obviously no conflict. There is only conflict if you take it literally, i.e. word for word.
