What happened to all the great cartoons!?

Digimon!

I miss Digimon! I wish that show still came on. Yeah im 21, and but i miss it. It makes me sad that my daughter cant watch it. ( even though shes only 3 months, hehe. ) the games just arent cutting it.

I wish Beast Wars still came on too. I loved that show when I was little.

And what happened to GOOD cartoons on Nickelodeon. Like Rockos Modern Life and Ahhh! Real Monsters and Invader Zim. That sucks too.

Thats ok. The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack comes on now and that cartoon is AWESOME!! I love it and Chowder! Hopefully those come on when my daughter gets older. Cuz i refuse to let her watch crap like Dora the Explorer and Yo Gabba Gabba and Barney! ( Sesame Street is great though, im cool with that. Hehe )

Oh! And Zoids. I miss that show too!

Anyone remember Hamtaro? Haha, that show was pure cuteness. My daughter would love it.

*sigh*... Better get hunting for DVD's.

Looking for friends...

Hello Gamespot. Im just looking for friends here. I don't have any except my co workers and my brothers. I feel all alone...:(. Anyway, I just wanna say Hello! and to take a peek around my page and stuff. If you think we could be good friends, send me a message and let me know. Ive been playing video games like for a while now, haha. Im real sweet and just had a beautiful baby girl!! I welcome anyone!!

Any other gamer mommys though? Or girls? That'd be cool! But i mean like for real gamer, more than the casual game play. Im talking like 50+ hours a week with a controller in your hand staring at a TV screen.:P

Anyway, thatd be cool. :D

RPG's: Love or Hate?

So ive always been really confused on wether i love rpg's or i just cant f***ing stand them. I mean, i try to stay a very well rounded gamer and play all sorts of different genres and types. Like i know i love anything survival horror and hate anything thats sports. I love fps's and hate movie based games (exept the lego games, those are genius)Haha. I just havent been really able to pinpoint where i want rpg's to go. Heres a bit of the ones i love and hate ( and its really just a few, ive played a crap load, u name it and i probably have). Im sure im about to piss some hardcore ff fans off. Sowwy

The first turned based rpg that i played was final fantasy 7. and i hated it. I thought the characters were lame and the story was so damn emo. Then i played ff8. Characters and story were better, but combat sucked big ones. So then i picked up ff9. i had heard nothing but great things about this series and didnt want to give up so easy. So i played 9. Loved it!! Its definetly one of my favs. So, that made me realise that my taste differed from most. But i wasnt going to give up on thr rpg just yet. The next two that i played were parasite eve (genius) and Legend of dragoon (great!). Thing were looking up. I really thought i was loving these turned based, story drivin wonders. So i picked up a few for my ps2 and gamecube. Final Fantasy x, and tales of symphonia. OMG! Someone please tell me why ffx was so god awful! And dont get me started on that stupid chickfest that is ffx-2. But thats another time. Haha. But now tales of symphonia was amazing and introduced little ol me to the action rpg. Wow! what genius this is, what a great story, and characters and finally some challenging combat! I guess ill definetly say i love action rpg's, like the tales series, fable 1 and 2 and final fantasy 12. ( i just want to say that i love 12 and that thats the best thing they coulda done for that series! Im waiting for you 13!!!) Yes, finally. after playing so many horrible turned based things i knew i could just quit them and play some action rpg's.

Ok, so those got boring. I was tired of running aroung slashing my way through enemy after enemy for no reason. If i wanted to do that id play Devil May Cry. Now thats a hack and slash! Again, another time. Anyway, so i started to notice that action rpg's dont have the same ummm... good story that the turned based ones tended to have. So i went back to turned based. I recently started Lost Odyssey. Love the story!!! Kinda lame combat. UH! Is there no happy medium?

Oh, but there is! Stradegy Rpg's! Disgaea is a fabulous series. Its got the freedom, combat and funny story that i love. And final fantasy tactics doesnt disappoint either. But again, those are hits and misses.

I havent started any MMO's and dont intend to.

So i dont really know where im going with this. I guess im just to picky. I know that there are people out there who are hardcore about them some rpg's and i dont get it. There are not many that have done the little "formula" correctly, meaning compelling story, interesting characters, challenging combat. Isnt that all a rpg has to be? I used to think why cant anyone do this?

So about 2 weeks ago i picked up Persona 3. I had heard god things from some dudes at work. Turns out, there is an rpg that fits my standard! Yay! Persona 3 has a very cool dark story, fun characters and sweet combat! I cant wait to beat it. I managed to get my hands on the others in the Shin Megami Tensei series. Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga and Persona 4. Cant Wait to play em. Yay

So like I know that this was just a big rant on how opinionated i am and how i hate alot of things. Sorry if i offended anyones taste. Contact me with any of your own opinions or questions..

Little Naomz's Big Issue

So i think i have this super problem. well, i wouldnt say super but it is a problem. Here it is. Ive been playing games casually ever since i was 10. and i love em. I really do. But when i turned 14 my mom bought me a ps1 for my birthday. I was super happy and couldnt wait to buy new games and all that good stuff. Thats when i started to become alot more hardcore about games.

When i turned 16 i got a job and within 6 months i had an xbox, gamecube and ps2. I ended up buying nothing but games every two weeks from gamestop. some for each of my systems. Before i knew it i had almost 200 games total. and thats not my big issue! out off all those games i probably had only beat 7 off them. I felt like i was throwing money any so i traded in my ps2 and all its games ( i had the most for it) and alot of my gc and xbox games. With that store credit i got more games for my xbox and such.

Now, again thats not the problem either. months after that i regreted getting rid of my ps2 and got another and months later it happened again. i had a crap load of games that i loved having and like never ever played. so as a solution i got rid of my xbox and gamecube and there games... regreted that too and months later had spent a crap load more money buying that back.

Needless to say, ive owned now 3 gamecubes, 2 xboxs, 4 ps2s, 2 ps1s and 5 ds's. ( the ds is for another reason though, they keep changing color!) haha.

Anyway! i know that was lame. but i now currently own an xbox 360 (ive only had 1! yay!) a ps2, a gamecube, and a white ds lite. And ive had these systems for some years now so that problem is pretty much solved. I say pretty much cuz just a couple months ago i traded in my wii. I dont know how thatll go yet. Haha.

Along with all this getting rid of the re owning the systems i have a big issue with buying games and never playing them. Im talking owning games for years and never played them. I dont know if anyone else does that. please let me know if you do. I need help. Haha. I currently own 32 xbox 360 games and have beat 5 of them! 5! uh, i need help. And it doesnt friggin help that i work at a video game store. Im like a kid in a candy store.

Anyway, thanks for reading my problems. If you think you can help me contact me. Thanks!!

Oh, and anyone who hasnt played Persona 3 has too. Its like maybe the best Rpg ive played, and ive started many. Haha. I like it so much im pretty sure ill go all the way with it :->
