@Bread_or_Decide: Have you tried not playing these games yet? I find that most of my problems with a game or business model are solved when I don't give them my money.
@xhawk27: My friends with Xbox360s were always trying to tell me that they were getting exclusive stuff for dudebro games. I know Call of Duty was one for sure. Although they may have not known what they were talking about, and I can't remember what any others were because I had given up on Xbox already.
These people have to be so obsessed that they literally were going to play Pokemon the entire time they were there. It's not that hard to find other stuff to see or do in the Chicago area and still have a fun trip. A ticket refund to give me some extra spending money for whatever else I end up doing sounds fair.
That's cool. And for the people complaining, most games do this at some point. Id software is just upgrading everyone to the "Complete" edition, which is a good move of they want the game to still be very active when all the new players join.
I can sort of understand this one. This would be bad for them if they decide to release paid Liberty City expansions later. I don't agree, but I understand why they would target these guys.
