Hellooo, common practical sense calling Earth?! This is a game, IF it is a RPG it is Artificial reality. Truth is, people play games to get away from the horrible thing outside called reality, not counting simulators. People want to use their imagination, maker help us if a company lets us use it these days, because of sales ratings. People play games to get away from "the office" not plunge themselves back into the stirring pot of drama. All the stuff about religion, gender, sexuality and drama is irrelevant in here, games aim to make us one whole, not split us into war waging dukes of no man land. My point is it is just a game, if you take it that serious go do something else, like ruining someone's house insurance and mortgage because clearly you are a banker. My other point is stop talking about this Twilight romance rubbish "who will i bang on my ship" and focus on what is happening in ME3 and how the hell do we kill giant Bio robots from deep space!!!

Well well well, seems somebody in the corporate latter shouted "broaden the audience range", cool. It is after all, what all game companies do these days, care about ratings and hide behind "the public wants it" sign. It's fair we all want more money somehow. Plus I have no problem with a robust Shepard in regards to his religion, gender , hair color or sexuality, all the more reason to play the game over a few times. I like Mass Effect and I will probably buy it. But one thing really bugs me, when did we go from Sci-Fi to Fantasy -.- , honestly! Is this Twilight central ?! It is such a rip off. Did we all forget about the Reapers and the end of Civilization as we know it and instead focus on the topic "who can I bum on my ship" or "I think I hurt his/hers/its feelings". Get your act together Bioware this game is about: Space, aliens, freedom, guns, fight for survival and sinister plots, not about a romance novel written by Paulo Quello. THANK YOU!

Yes you all own games well done, the physical copy of it at least. Put it this way you own fire (lighters, torches, gas heaters, ect.) any product really. You physically own that copy and you can do whatever you want with it, paint it destroy it sell it or shove it w/e, but I honestly doubt you OWN the concept and the Idea of fire and how it should work. At your end you own NO ideas or concepts you buy physical goods from a vendor(supplier in between), which from the purchase onward are yours alone but the idea of them isn't.

Well it seems games are "Serious Business" these days. What was the definition of the word "game" again ? Anyway just to remind some people, if you follow news, a couple of months ago the head of development of the next Devil May Cry game, received death treats from "hardcore" fans of the series, because the company he works with has decided to give Dante(the main character) a new look and style. Seems my mentor was right "Looks can kill".

Well kids, games are like books in a matter of speaking they are both IP (Intellectual Property) and they both have a key plot, they both have a wide range of genres and they are both considered entertainment. Not everyone like the same book or genre, that is normal because different people have different ideals, books are meant to be read by whoever wants to read them there are over 9 billion people on this world at least a few would read it or would like to read it. Now not liking books if fair, but burning them and putting their authors to the gallows now that is just tyrannic and Nazi. Now about ownership, yes you buy your books on amazon or at the bookstore, yes you own it, but you OWN only a physical copy of. This copy allows you to read the IP of the author or authors which they came up with on their own, it is called Intellectual property, not Group hive property, so having claims on an idea created by someone else is utterly distasteful. What you could do is inspire them to incorporate your ideas to their IP, not plunge at them with the dagger of forceful intentions to make whatever you feel like. Just because you are behind a screen thinking who will know doesn't mean you should throw your moral values in the bin, but then again there are hardly any morals left in this world. It makes me sad.

If it's not broken sell it, same same is true about your house, your dog and maybe your mom. That is the message that companies and corporations are trying to send to us, but we know better that to trust in get rich quick scheme gimmicks. So what do they do ? They do their old fashion trick with the fine print and shrieking in a primal tribal dance they cry to the men in charge of a country that they are getting pirated. Boo hoo that's what I call crocodile tears, but the worst is that people believe them and not because they think it is wrong, but because business is business and the cash dollars replace their eyes like in a Warner Bros cartoon. I miss the old days of SEGA and cartridges, when gaming was fun instead of just business.

On the console vs PC discussion, how's that drag and drop on the controller working out for you ? Or the zoom in and out feature not working ? Or the shaky hands you have from too much vibes ? Think about this How many PC games get ported to console ... none ? Maybe a few or a lot go find out, but I'm sure the console ports to PC are in the hundreds and thousands more, hell I can even play SNES on the computer. Also who cares about graphics if the game is made for you to enjoy the content instead of admiring the bloody mountains in the distance. Dungeon siege 2 (some will say a cheap rip off Diablo) was a wonderful game, gameplay was simple, story was interesting with a twist and you actually had numbers, which helped the PEOPLE that COULD do MATH. Its not that games are made dumb they are just dumbed down for the ''casual" gamers and console wizards.

First lets remind everyone this game is brought to you by EA corporation, famous for get rich quick schemes and buying off the competition, smashing their useless logo on top and forcing them to be slaves that will do what EA says and not what a specialist in game making thinks is right. In one word EA. Now whichever poor soul complains about graphics textures and lack of animation is by far a "casual" gamer. If you want gloss go play Maple Story. RPGs are by default the offspring of the old D&D board game, dungeons, dragons, undead, liches, narrow skilled specification dependent on how you throw your dice. None of this softcore mix and match, a knight is a knight a mage is a mage, anything else is a jack of all trades, can do everything , but useless against a well made villain. Anything else outside these guidelines brought to the RPG genre is a GMO, sometimes nice, sometimes horrible. If it wasn't for ME2 we'd all still have mute characters, which was fine coss your imagination could fill in the voice of YOUR character, but I guess to have imagination today is very very very hard.

The user playing is useless yes, but the game feels awkward, way too much flashes and no substance. I'm eager to see the real thing but so far I'm not impressed, looks like a generic linear hack and slash in narrow corridors with graphics running on hallucination drugs with utterly limited input from the player because it is mapped specifically for a bloody console controller. If this wants to be a real RPG stop running it on kids' toys and make a decent PC version. Enough with the money making schemes of corporations selling us half leftovers!

It very much affects the whole world not just the UK. Sites will shut down, online speech will be repressed by fear of websites being shut, web pages based in USA will be blocked by search engines, no adds will be allowed, money services online will be cut. In our case of the UK this could mean no YouTube, twitter or Itunes. WE will be stuck with the BBC. I know we don't give a toss about anything overseas but I think we still have some foresight what this will do to the world economy instead of being narrow minded. And the difference between pirating and not caring is that in one case the producer is bitter greedy he didn't make his targeted 20 zillion $ and blames it on people online.
