I don't think they'll have an internal HDD because they can still sell external ones and make money on them. I think they'll always have at least two models. The basic one and the one that's $100 more and bundled with games and a HDD. I don't think it will challenge Nintendo that much. Software is a major reason why people like the Wii. MS could have launched with Natal but if their line-up was the same, I think Nintendo would still be in a leadership position. A lot of Wii gamers have been alive since video games were first invented but nothing got them to jump in until the Wii. I don't think adding motion controls is going to turn a soccer mom into a huge Halo and God of War fangirl.Senor_KamiThere are two SATA cables on the leaked Slim motherboard. One cable is for the disc drive. the other will be for......? Only the HDD :)

From what I understand you will also lose access to your games if you format the internal memory.* Basically instead of trying to maintain a remote DRM server, Nintendo's approach is to store a key or something on the console itself. It's a really bad system and I hope they fix it on the 3DS.
*Does the DSi give you that option? The Wii does anyway.
that is so stupid makes the ubi drm look good, at least you can't loose your games if you hdd breaks. I think Steam in general has the best DRM and online. You are a PC gamer too, I think you understand ;)[QUOTE="PandaBear86"]Solution: Forget Nintendo and their barbaric standards when it comes to technology, and just get a PSP instead.Cherokee_JackBut I'm not in the market for an MP3 player. I never said anything about MP3 players. When I say "barbaric standards when it comes to technology", I am talking about their horrible DRM and weak graphics.
One of the worst games this generation.
Also one of the most disappointing sequels ever.
FarCry 2 was not an actual sequel to FarCry 1. Different continent, different characters and story etc, The only reason why it used the name "FarCry" is to get more sales. How sad. Gamespot and IGN are two of the worst sites I've ever been to in terms of quality journalism. It kind of makes me sad to know I contributed to this ranking.savebatteryI visit Gamespot for the forums (especially System Wars), rather than the other stuff. But when the time comes for me to finally get banned on this site, I might have to look elsewhere for good forums :P
