We all know thatSOME developers don't pay much attention to PC gamers nowadays (look at Ubisoft for their DRM, plus they refuse to release Prince of Persia DLC to PC gamers). Some devs just make console games, and then port them over to PC later on, meaning the PC market is simply an after-thought to them. Now, with Move and Natal coming up on the horizon, do you think devs will spend lots of money on motion sensing, then find they don't have enough money left over to support PC gamers? Natal and Move will obviously cost millions to develop for, so thats what gets me worried. What if they take that money out of PC game investment, then use it for motion sensing instead? Furthermore, you cannot port a motion control game over to PC (unles MS allows PCs to use Natal)

I have been gaming on my PC alot lately, especially with BF:BC2 which I am addicted to. I would hate PC gaming to lose support in favor of devs spending money on motion control instead of optomising their games for PC. I love PC gaming, and I love motion control, but hopefully devs wont take from one and give to the other. Your thoughts?

Are you kidding me? Microsoft controls both so whats the point?

no they dont.

They don't cotnrol PC gaming directly, but they do in-directly. Let me know once you've managed to play Crysis and Dragon Age on Linux, and I will happily uninstall Vista from my PC.

All the time. Im doing right now..

Option B. Watching a movie during gaming, etc, is a little too much.

You would have to have epic concentration to be able to watch a movie AND play a game at the exact same time.

Natal is not a camera. It is a sensor array with a depth sensor, color sensor, and microphone. It also has a much better sdk and associated APIs than the eyetoy ever did. I don't really see the comparison between the two.

I agree completely. But unfortunately, people still like giving it the nickname "PSEye 2.0". I personally can't wait for Natal.

I just keep coming back to this thread to check out the pretty screenshots :) This thread has already been debunked (we all know PC games have better graphics than Uncharted 2), but thanks everybody for the eye candy! :D

[QUOTE="GunSmith1_basic"][QUOTE="Origami_Kill3r"]wasn't natal having trouble detecting black ppl. I remember seeing an article.GunSmith1_basic

i haven't heard a credible source confirm this. MS actually reacted to this rumor and said it isn't true

oh wait i just checked and found this: http://www.springerlink.com/content/p75x879k24k36185/ I don't know if it's good science though

They fixed that issue via firmware. Sugar Ray (I think that is his name) was playing Natal, check youtube for a video of him playing it. He had not problems with Natal, despite the color of his skin.

Natal is completely different than the PSEye. Can the PSEye detect your bodyheat and use a wireframe to detect specific areas of your body, allowing it detect your finger movements, even when they are behind your back? People need to learn more about Natal before calling it a PSEye 2.0. Might as well say that the Xbox 360 controller is just an updated NES controller. They are both controllers, They both have buttons, and a D-Pad, but is the 360 really just an upgraded NES controller? I think you get what I mean regarding Natal and PSEye.

[QUOTE="PandaBear86"]I am sure the PS2 games library will arrive on PS3 as PSN downloadable games, just like PS1 classics such as FF7. Yes, I know you have to re-purchase games this way, but digital distribution is way better than discs.Rockman999

If Sony began to distribute PS2 games through PSN it would mean they introduced software emulation and seeing as every PS3 can read DVD's, you wouldn't have to rebuy anything. Just like you don't need to rebuy any PS1 game if you already have the disc. C'mon people it's common sense....

They could re-master the PS2 downloadable games to run better on the Cell. Playing some of the PS1 classics on PSN works better than the actual disc, because they can modify the code on the PSN versions of those games

Ummm isn't that defeating the whole purpose of Natal?

Exactly

i'll second that. Worth trying though

The purpose of Natal is for Microsoft to make money. I dont see how introducing a nunchuck is going to stop that from happening. Natal is just an advanced camera, nothing more, nothing less. It was not designed to make controllers obsolete, it can be used for anything you want it to be. My laptop has an in-built camera. Oh noes my keyboard and mouse are obsolete because of the camera
