I am sure the PS2 games library will arrive on PS3 as PSN downloadable games, just like PS1 classics such as FF7. Yes, I know you have to re-purchase games this way, but digital distribution is way better than discs.

If any of you idiots think BC2 has fully destructible environments...

your arguments are already invalid.

forza420

noone said the environments are fully destructible...but they sure are more destructible than modern warfare 2

The buidlings are *completely* destructible, while some areas in the games are not destructible, quiet a lot of it is. Buildings, cover, plants(?) etc can all be destroyed. What else do you need to be destructible?

I dont see the need to make fun of MW2. I understand you like BC2, but what is the reason for bashing MW2 ? Did the game do something to you :? ? BC2 playscompletelydifferent than MW2 so I dont see how the game can be better. Both are very good games, but they play different some will like them and others wont.

No dedicated servers or mods, heartbeat monitors are too noob-friendly, etc. Bad Company 2 feels much more realistic and the PC version doesn't feel like a watered down console port.

[QUOTE="DarthBilf"]Farmville? What's next, the helicopter game?Sky-

It has 82.7 million users.

Shame how such a boring game can have so many users. If you really need to play casual games, why not just buy casual games on Steam which are better than games on Facebook? Or play casual games on your iPhone or DS, which is more portable than your PC browsing Facebook.

Fully destructible environments and bullet drop = I expect these two features to become standard in all shooters from now on Bad Company 2 is amazing.

FF7 remake would have some slight modifications. First, all the main characters would be complete outcasts and will have no contact from society. As a result, you wont be able to talk to people in cities because we all know its impossible to have HD graphics and cities at the same time, am I right Square Enix? *Goes back to playing Dragon Age and Oblivion*

Motion controls are not just a fad. While they may be limited and exploited in mostly gimmicky ways now, in the long run they offer a lot of real potential when it comes to interaction. This is just the beginning.

Motion controls appeal to casuals core games prefer a pad. You go online with 1 guy with motion control and the other with a pad it's going to be a no brainier who's going to win. I can push a button far faster than you can swing your arm true story. Reaction time is everything and motion controls don;t have it.

I don't think you have watched the Move demo for SOCOM. They used the Wand + subcontroller, and the guy did not move his arms around at all. It actually looked better with a motion controller. Come on now, analog sticks are the wrost for shooting games, as well as RTS games! You need a pointing device for those kinds of games.

Graphics are important, but gameplay is more important. I don't want to sacrifice large, explorable environments and immersiveness for really good graphics. And that seems to be the trend these days on consoles.

I can understand that with FF13 being too linear, but take a look at non-linear games like Dragon Age etc. Square Enix is just too busy working on handheld games rather than consoles.

Even Dragon Age was full of narrow, small and linear environments. Compare the forest in Dragon Age to a forest in Neverwinter Nights or Baldurs Gate to see what I mean.

Havent played much Baldurs Gate, but NeverWinter Nights hardly lets you explore various cities. You cant go back and visit NeverWinter in chapter 2 for example

Meh. I love my PSPGO. Smaller then the old clunky PSP which I would never take anywhere. This fits like a cell phone in my work slacks. LOVE the Digital Distribution, UMD blows. All the games I cared about are already on PSN. Was expensive though.
