Resolution=graphics? I learn something new everyday!BubbyJelloResolution are a part of graphics. Just like how red is a part of the color wheel.

We all know that gameplay is more important than graphics. But at the same time, we have to realise that graphics DO have some effect on the gameplay. For example, take a look at the original Far Cry game. In that game, you occasionally get shot by snipers who hide from VERY far distances from you. If you try to zoom in and shoot them back, you will notice that their heads are just a few pixels in size, meaning that it would be extremely difficult to play this game on standard defintion. Just for fun, I decided to test this game on lowest resolution on my PC. And guess what? I couldn't even see any of the enemies shooting me because the resolution was far too low I could hardly see their heads.
So there you go. Graphics DO have some influence on gameplay. I wonder what Nintendo has to say about this, considering the fact that FarCry is actually on the Wii? I guess they will still say "As long as the gameplay is good, the graphics don't matter at all". Right, because a game where you can't see your enemies becausethe resolution is too low still equals good gameplay?
Thoughts?
Kill it, then put out PSP2 with the same distribution model and a reasonable price point.Cherokee_Jack
You do understand that the reason why PSP Go was so expensive was because retailers hated the fact that it wouldnt generate enough profit (no physical copies of games to buy), so they needed to hardware to be super-expensive?
the 68 million Wii owners disagree with youdevilsoultaker2I am one of those 68 million. I bet most of those other Wiis are just collecting dust, unless the owner is playing Wii Fit or something

A pc can also be use on on a hdtv. there a 2 ways that I know: VGA and HDMI. Though I don't see graphics card have hdmi ports very often but i think the new dx11 does.
Pretty much every new HDTV that i've seen has a PC plug in the back.... True, but remember 16:9 vs 16:10. It's a major difference for me. It's more than just a PC plug in the back.. You do realise that 16:9 means you cut 10% of the screen, rather than add 10% more width to a 16:10 screen right? Theres a reason why the "optimum" 16:9 resolution is 1920x1080 while the optimum 16:10 resolution is 1920x1200. You just destroyed 120 lines of pixels by going 16:9. 16:10 > 16:9 > 16:12so all i understood was that motion controls sucked untill sony got motion controls....... okadman66That is correct. Wii motion controllers are too inaccurate an unresponsive to satisfy hardcore gamers. Sony Move on the other hand is better for hardcore games as well as casual games.
