He'd fire all the people who elected him to represent gaming, and accuse them of insubordination. My vote is anybody but this guy:

[QUOTE="GunSmith1_basic"]they could sense depth with points of reference. Does the wii do depth with that, or is it accelerometers or whatever?ThePlothole
Yeah, but trying to reference a human body is difficult. The PSEye can use this method to determine the distance of the Move controller because the sphere its tracking is simple and and has a known size. We are neither simple nor uniform.
The Wiimote's pointer system can sense depth by measuring the distance between the two IR emitters on the sensor bar. But other than that the system has no real way to determine where it actually is relative to the screen.
True. Thats why the Wii asks you whether the sensor is on top of the TV or below it, since it needs a general understanding of where the TV screen is.[QUOTE="gamebreakerz__"]although PC gaming will never die, it is certainly ageing.Bebi_vegeta
Ageing? I'm not sure I get your point...
PC gaming is ageing, but instead of getting wrinkles, it is getting prettier graphics. Hopefully the same thing will happen to my handsome face when I get older :P[QUOTE="ferret-gamer"]
I just keep coming back to this thread to check out the pretty screenshots :) This thread has already been debunked (we all know PC games have better graphics than Uncharted 2), but thanks everybody for the eye candy! :DPandaBear86
oh, ok. ill help you out
[QUOTE="PandaBear86"][QUOTE="mccoyca112"]
Exactly. I have tried it and failed quite a few times. I end up forgetting the damn movie was even paused 3-4 hours later.
Maybe having 2 monitors for your PC would help? Or maybe you can concentrate if you have already seen the movie before and are just lsitening to the dialogue?2 screens could help. My music partner does that when he makes beats. The problem is for one, I dont know how to hook that up. Another is that I like to watch it at the same time. I like to multitask haha. Its a huge pain though. Maybe get a screen right by my tv, side by side game/movie
Lol. That would be fun to play/watch at the same time (or even try to do it). Connecting 2 monitors is easy, its just that you have to make sure your graphics card has 2 connections. My 9800GX2 supports dual monitors :)1. Natal is compatible with Windows
2. I really don't see how motion controls will attract a lot of PC or even console centric developers (eg;look at the Wii, sure a lot of developers try and try to make non casual/'hardcore' but how many actually received acclaim along with sales?)
3. If developers will migrate then rest assured they will either:
a. Fail and migrate back
b. Continue to support PC regardless or making motion controls an option like controllers/gamepads (as with many pc games)
c. Even if they do migrate, developers come and go in the pc platform, as long as the pc remains an open platform there will always be developers.
Hmm, good response. I agree with what you said. However as for point #2, the Wii hardly ever competes directly with PC gaming. Meanwhile, the PS3 and 360 try to compete more against the PC and have won some former PC-developers such as Epic and id software. Hopefully it won't happen anymoreNah I'm sure every developer out there is chomping at the bit to make 5 different SKUs.... A Wii version, a PS3 version, a Move version, a 360 version, and a Natal version.... And I'm sure after all of that, complete with different rendering modes, on different hardware with different architectures, and different operating systems/APIs along with entirely separate gameplay mechanics tailor made to each control type, they'll have plenty of money laying around for PC. Oh wait, or they could cut their losses and realize that all of those platforms are "Me too!" money sinks and just make a PC SKU instead of the stupid motion sensing support, which requires volumes of R&D, new level design, and lots of coding.BrownesqueHmm, well I can understand that a Natal game would have be re-engineered, but PS Move looks like it works fine being tacked-on, It looked like it works great for LittleBigPlanet and Socom 4, and those were never designed for Move.
You would have to have epic concentration to be able to watch a movie AND play a game at the exact same time.[QUOTE="PandaBear86"][QUOTE="mccoyca112"]
All the time. Im doing right now..
Option B. Watching a movie during gaming, etc, is a little too much.
