I think to be safe with co-op games like this, what I guess will end up being the 'Destiny model', we have to tamper our expectations. These co-op games are fun, I have a blast going in with squads, shooting stuff, and looting, but I also go in expecting lazy story development. If the story and characters for this DO end up being boring and typical, it will be a shame. BioWare has proven they can craft intricate worlds with great characters, and it shouldn't be limited to single player games. At the same time, we're only now getting great co-op games like Destiny, Ghost Recon Wildlands, and Far Cry. Even if this game only lasts a couple months for me, it will be a worthwhile couple of months because it sounds like the game plays great, and that seems to be the most important factor when it comes to co-op. I don't need the game to be this grand, genre shattering experience, I just need to have fun. As long as the game is fun, it's money well spent.

@quinnd6: That's the future man. Eventually, everything will be online all the time. Sure, it creates a dependency and there's a chance it can actually be a negative, but that's the way things are headed. And it's not just with consoles and gaming, it's going to be that way with many, many things. All the issues you speak of happen, but they happen with less and less frequency. Both my laptop and PS4 are online near constantly and I have very little issue at all with it. I have had maybe one or two outages in the past few years and have only experienced PSN going down a few times. We're moving into an online world and there's no sense fighting it.

My main disappointment here is the lack of creativity. At least FC5 felt unique in it's setting, story and characters. This just feels too derivative. That said, I always have a blast with FC franchise, and the addition of making FC5 completely co-op was the biggest highlight. I look forward to gunning through this game with my bro once again.

Isolation deserves better than a mobile FNAF clone dressed up as an Alien game. No thanks.

In doubtful I'll pick this up. I enjoyed KH I, II less so, but requiring people to have played all the handheld and numerous re-releases to fully engaged the story seems cheap to me. KH has always had a convoluted story that's hard to follow and I'm over the wow factor of Disney and Square masgung together like a PB&J sandwich. I'll just wait for the races from my friends who are obsessed with this franchise. Guess my money will be going to RE2 this time.

@alex33x: Audience 'reviews' can range from in depth critical analyses, and a like/dislike of the film based on such analyses, to 'Hey, that hot chick showed a boob and a bunch of stuff blew up, so this movie is awesome!' And with tickets as expensive as they can be these days and how much of a chore it seems for people to get out and to a movie theater, there is value to having a professional review from someone who actually watches the movie and analyzes it over Jim-Bob, who likes reality TV and is easily entertained.

@timthegem: Probably because it's not just based on the score. Critics can be weird in that they rate a movie one thing, but actually sound more negative or positive about it than their score seems to reflect. It's why I think scores are actually terrible for more reviews. Reviews typically have to be read to get a more accurate critique of the film.

@jedijax: That you find Blade Runner boring says more about you than the movie. It's not boring in the least and is the perfect sci-fi film noir, which is typically a slow genre anyway. But it being paced slowly and having a predictable plot doesn't take from how masterful it is. It truly is one of the greatest sci-fi created. I'm also not sure how Fifth Element comes off as a FFVII rip off. That's a pretty big leap.

@deviltaz35: AC5 has the best combination of all elements to me. Everything is excellent in it. I've read up on the story for 6 and it seems okay, but not at the level of 5. 5 managed to tell a traditional style of story that felt very cinematic. 6 seems to be more in line with the story telling of 4, which is not bad, but also not as compelling.

@cboye18: You missed a great game in AC5, the best in the franchise. If you liked 4, 5 is something you should play.
