Eh, weak looking month. Star Wars and COD are supposed to be the big ones, but COD is a stale franchise and bringing it back to it's roots isn't going to do much to change that. And Battlefront II could be a good turn, but the first game left a whole lot to be desired. A tacked on, five hour campaign really doesn't get me much more excited.

As sad as it might be to say it, Sonic Forces is about the only game on this list I have any interest in. Sonic Mania got me excited for the franchise again and, with Sonic Forces replicating much of Generations, which was excellent, I'm hoping it's a repeat. Sonic Team finally seems to get the message of what fans want, so here's hoping.

It's not like domestic violence hasn't been subject in games before, but in the context of this game, it's an interesting angle. From everything we've seen about the game, it's always been about your choice as something that's not supposed to have a choice. None of these Android's are supposed to think, feel, or react. We're supposed to be uncomfortable, sad angry, and want to react. That's what makes it interesting.

First, saying that someone died in Stranger Things is not a spoiler. People die, duh. It's Stranger Things. Second, I am sad by Bob's death too, and while not necessary, he at least went out a hero. Bob saved everyone and while I would have liked Bob to live, better him than one of the leads or Max. RIP Bob.

@mopheusdg: Saying that someone died in Stanger Things is not a spoiler. It's not like the name was printed there. Chill out, man.

I typically give Nintendo a hard time, but I'd love to play this. Haven't been this interested in a Mario game in quite a while. If I ever get a switch, I'll pick this up.

This is good enough for me. Sounds better than Thor 2, so worth watching in theaters, I'd say.

@kachal: Then South Park isn't for you because half the jokes in the show are at the expense of others and involve humiliation or worse.

And yes, the show is for adults, but the characters are still kids, so they act like kids and their problems/behavior/humor is still childish and immature. One of the brilliant things about the writing is how the creators manage to translate relatable problems or social issues into children's problems or something immature just to show how bizarre or immature our problems are at times. The comedy of South Park obviously isn't for everyone, but it's still intelligently crafted and it's easier to laugh at when you realize that laughing at South Park means you're also laughing at yourself.

Ready to play! Been replaying the first game and had forgotten how great the gameplay is. Looking forward to this sequel.

@kachal: @kachal: Like a lot of humor, it can't really be explained. But strange noises from the human body are sometimes humorous. It's simple, gross out humor. Same reason we still laugh when someone vomits at a party after drinking too much.

In the case of South Park, the humor is in the context. The farting itself isn't what funny, it's the fact that farting is used as a super power, just as it was used as magic in the first game. Also keep in mind, kids find farts hilarious

@PredatorRules: I've studied horror films, I know what goes into making them. Not every horror movie is made to scare. Army of Darkness is still considered horror, but is predominantly a comedy. Shaun is listed on rottentomatoes, boxofficemojo, and Wikipedia as horror comedy. HORROR comedy. Which means it is both a horror movie and a comedy.

And if you study horror, one of the first things you learn is that both comedy and horror are two sides of the same coin, so combining the two isn't such an unbelievable thing.
