Like I said a lot earlier in this thread. I look at the ultimate goal of the Israelis and the ultimate goal of hamas and other palestinian and muslim organizations

Israel: Wants to exist

Hamas: wants Israel to cease to exist.

They have both done despicable things but at the end of the day the Palestinian people have hamas and their other leaders to blame for making their goal not peace, but the destruction of Israel. Israel claims they let plenty of food and medicine in. You obviously dispute this claim and honestly I don't believe you. I think Israel should pay for their misdeeds against people. I am not for them starving children and innocents, and I can certainly sympathize with all the needless suffering going on, but it can never stop until Hamas and others change their goals. Until that day, no matter what Israel concedes to them, they will never stop this war.

This ones rather interesting to me. When Russia basically did the same thing to Georgia, everyone was appalled, disgusted, and wanted action taken against Russia.

When Israel does it we just need to smile and nod our heads.

Ah, you are quite incorrect on this one. Turkey has every right to regard the interception of its vessels in international waters as an act of war. Turkey need not consult with the UN or any international body in order to legally consider itself to be in a state of war with Israel. That is the risk of blockade as a war strategy. The nations to which blockaded vessels belong, even if they were previously neutral, can legally and justifably enter the war as belligerants at that point in order to protect their interests.

But turkey, as a gov'n, according to comments here, had nothing to do with this flotilla.
