So let me see if these are the corect facts of this case

1. Israel is blockading Gaza because of constant rocket fire (according to them) or because they want to slowly commit genocide against palestinians (according to Israels opponents).

2. Humanitarian ships were claiming to bring supplies to Gaza to aid the people suffering there due to the blockade (though Israel claims it lets more than enough food and medicine through). This was in violation of the blockade Israel is imposing.

3. Israeli troops boarded the ships while still in international waters though the ships had made their intentions to enter Gaza clear and ignored Israeli warnings to stop their boats.

- I read somewhere that Israel did this to avoid a day time confrontation and better video for the cameras. Is that true?

4. Israeli troops were attacked once they boarded the ship via helicopter by those one board. One person even grabbed one of the soldiers guns and the others had sharp objects like knives and axes. Several Israel soldiers were injured

5. Israel opened fire on at least some of the civilians killing over 10.

I'm just trying to figure out the disputed facts of this specific incident, cuz right now it does not seem that Israel was out of line. Whether they should have the blockade up can be argued I guess, but this ship knowingly proceeded despite the blockade. This put Israel in the position to either let them through and open the door for hundreds of other ships to break their blockade, or to take necessary means to prevent it, which would look bad to the international community. They obviously thought they had the right to choose the latter. I watched videos that clearly show Israeli soldiers being attacked by a mob of "humanitarians". I have a hard time sympathizing for them when they initiated this specific conflict and then initiated violence on the boats. I think they would have been better off to just allow themselves to get arrested...

israel always claims it's "defending" itself but the victims stats. paint a clearer picture of who is the real agressor in this conflict.

If Native Americans demanded that they be given 1/3 of America for all the atrocities caused during the American expansionism would we give it to them? Hello no, and if they started attacking, they would either be killed or jailed. I can understand their frustration, but at this point they have to let go and are the ones at fault for their violence.
