Where are the reviews?

Okay, so I haven't written a new review because I'm working on schoolwork a lot right now and I don't have time to play games as much as I would normally. I have to focus on quizzes and exams. Spring break is coming soon so that could be the big opportunity for a new review or post. The top 10 dumbest cartoon characters is something that I completely forgot. I guess I'll have people vote on the remaining seven characters. Here's the current list:

#3 Lumpy-Happy Tree Friends

#2 Patrick Star-Spongebob Squarepants

#1 Billy-The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

These three will keep their spots on the list unless I say otherwise. You can vote, and I'll count the votes.

Working on a new Top 10

Yes it's true, I'm doing another pointless Top 10 list. This time, it's Top 10 Dumbest cartoon characters. So far I've got 3. I'll continue to work on that and keep playing games. That's all for today.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom and future reviews

Well, I reviewed TvC and I've been playing Timesplitters 2 and Phantasy Star Zero a lot lately. I can tell you right now that both will review very well, but I still have to get through the main parts of the games before I can write the reviews. I may also dig up a game that I haven't played in a long time. I've also seen Zombieland and it was laugh out loud funny and nuts to the wall gory. I only have one question. If you were in the middle of a zombie invasion, would you trust anybody? If somebody I saw was bitten, including myself, I'd open fire without a second thought. That sounds a little dark, but that's the way it has to be, right:question:

Guess What?

I got Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the Wii, and Timesplitters 2 for the Gamecube. I may also be getting Phantasy Star Zero in the near future. I asket my Gamestop guy about the PSO for the Gamecube and the closest store that had it was in Florida. I also Pre-Ordered Lost Planet 2! WOOT! 1337ness! 1 I>\/\//\/3cI Y()u! My bro also pre-ordered GoW 3, that's sure to be good. We now also own the God of War collection and Dragon Age: Origins. I also want to ask about a game I heard about called Cross Edge. I heard it's a crossover between Darkstalkers and a bunch of games and anime. Some people liked it and some people did not. I'm running low on cash though so I might not play it anytime soon. The special attacks look awesome though...

What's next for me?

I'm not really sure, I just finished the Bad Fur Day review and I'm not sure what game to do next. I'm planning on trying either Phantasy Star Online for the Gamecube or Phantasy Star Zero for the DS. You tell me which one's better. I also recently heard about a game called TimeSplitters 2 that looks pretty sweet. It looks like a combination between Perfect Dark and Jet Force Gemini in terms of graphics and gameplay style. And you can dual wield Tommy Guns! That's absolutely awesome! As stated in my DMC4 review, I want to see the original Devil May Cry trilogy on PSN so I can download them and finally play them. DMC4 was awesome, but I want to play the other games in the series too. That's all I got. I'm Psycho-Hazard, I play games, write reviews, and complain.

Review In Progress: Conker's Bad Fur Day

Okay, I've been working on this for a while now. I've had various things distracting me from playing this game, but now I'm getting through some of the more cryptic parts and I'm making more progress. I instantly fell in love with this game, and I want to complete the game so that I can tell you my thoughts in my next review.

Top 10 Most Anticipated Games of 2010

With all of the great games being announced for this year, you have to combine anticipation with mystery. Whether or not you know exactly what the game will contain, these are the games that I'm excited about.

#10 Metal Gear Solid Rising-PS3/360

With Snake's story epicly concluded, one can't fathom what Kojima has planned next. It's hinted at a new gameplay style and making the cyborg-ninja Raiden the central character. It's low on the list due to the fact that we're not entirely sure if it's coming out this year, but the excitement still stands.

#9 Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty-PC/MAC

The sequel to the definitive RTS game has been highly anticipated for years, and if it doesn't come out this year, blame the guy that made the announcement at BlizzCon. Theres more added to the game than just re-rendered 3D graphics, there's a new battlenet platform being unleashed. We all can't help but be excited about the newest game in the series.

#8 Final Fantasy XIII-PS3/360

Even with all the new charcters, beautifully rendered cutscenes, and gunblades; my anticipation on the newest game in the longest running RPG franchise is purely based on the past performance of Square Enix. Final Fantasy Vii was and stlll is an excellent game, and if XIII is anything like it, I have every reason to be excited.

#7 Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition-PS3/360

Resident Evil 5, although disappointing, is a great survival horror game, and with new chapters being released I can't help but be excited. This is the only entry on the list that isn't a full game, yet it still has everyone excited.

#6 Red Steel 2-Wii

With the first Red Steel being a disappointment, and video games have a legitimate chance at being better than the original, and the new features being added to Red Steel 2, I'm very excited for the next entry next month. Who doesn't love slicing up bandits with a katana? It just doesn't get old! With implementation of the new Wii Motionplus accessory, it's sure to operate much better than the original.

#5 Super Mario Galaxy 2-Wii

With so much left over from the first game that got thrown out the window, and the awesomeness of the first game, and the return of the bulemic dinosaur Yoshi, I just can't wait to see the next great Mario game from Nintendo's team.

#4 Mega Man 10-Wii/PS3/360

With the outrageous success of Mega Man 9, Capcom has announced yet another 8-bit style Megaman game scheduled for this March. I loved Mega Man 9 even with it's punishing difficulty, and I can't wait for the next installment.

#3 Lost Planet 2-PS3/360

Okay, next time I go to Gamestop, I AM PRE-ORDERING THIS GAME! With epic new gameplay and cutscenes, character customization, and new destructive toys to play with, Lost Planet 2 easily places high on this list. The demo was enough to get everybody excited, but the new episodic trailers, and Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil series as a pre-order bonus, drove us all nuts.

#2 Diablo III-MAC/PC

It was a hugely painful decision not to make this one number 1, but I've finally decided which one truly gets the number one spot. Several years in the making, we all hope this game gets released this year. The new graphics are absolutely beautiful and the new classes and abilities are awesome! All that and new enemies, bosses, dungeons and equipment! I seriously hope this game comes out this year!

#1 Metroid: Other M-Wii

How can I allow this game to be higher on the list than Diablo III? How about a new look at Samus' past (note: I said PAST!) through beautiful cutscenes, or maybe it's the new gameplay style instead of the FPS style, or maybe it's the fact that Team Ninja, a team well known for supreme action and content, has taken the helm. The next Metroid is truly the most anticipated game of this year.

Top 5 Unluckiest Cartoon Characters

I've been wanting to do this list for a while because I feel that it's an unnecessary yet interesting list. These are the cartoon characters that are accident prone, retarded, or just plain miserable. This is my top 5 unluckiest cartoon characters.

#5 Squidward Tentacles-Spongebob

Forget for a second that he's probably the meanest octopus in Bikini Bottom (yes, he is an octopus despite his name. Squids have an arrow-like formation at the top of their head, squidward does not.) Squidward has it really rough. He literally has barely enough money to afford everything he owns, nearly everybody in town hates him, he hates his job, and he has to live next to the most annoying neighbors in history. I'd say he lands right on this list. The only reason he's not higher on the list, he's never died.

#4 Tom the cat-Tom and Jerry

This is pretty self explanatory. No matter what he does, Tom always gets screwed. He can't get through one day without Jerry causing him misery, and sometimes he's forced by his owners to act like a baby. Chasing Jerry has even gotten him killed on more than one occasion. Appearantly he has a price on his head too, because every dog in the universe wants him dead. He's never gonna catch a break. Number 4.

#3 Wile E. Coyote-Looney Toons

This guy lProxy-Connection: keep-alive Cache-Control: max-age=0 erally has no common sense. He's a complete moron, one of the dumbest cartoon characters ever(OOH! Do I smell another list?). He may be able to create all of these ridiculous contraptions from thin air, but he has no idea how to use them. You'd think that after failing miserably thousands of times, he'd try a different road runner. Why does it absolutely have to be the road runner that can warp time and space? He gets horribly injured by his own actions countless times and has died at least five times. He may be one of the most well known unlucky cartoon characters, but I've got two more spots on the list yet.

#2 Kenny McCormick-South Park

Kenny is probably the cartoon character with the highest death count, with Cuddles the rabbit following behind. He's been shot, stabbed, bisected, strangled, and shredded in nearly every episode for the first five seasons of the show. He's also nearly dirt poor. That not enough for you? How about one of his most recent deaths being drowning in piss? Oh dear lord. This may be some people's number 1, but chances are they've never seen this next cartoon.

#1 Everyone-Happy Tree Friends

*sigh* sometimes it's not how many times you die, it's HOW you die. Dear lord. These guys have it really rough. Thought Kenny had some brutal deaths? These guys have it WAY worse. Individually, their death count is nothing compared to Kenny's, but look at all the crap that happens to them! This is like the guilty pleasure cartoon. It's a great cartoon, but you feel like you have to watch it in a corner because the death scenes are so repulsive. If I had to pick one character off the show for this list, it would probably be Cuddles, but the fact is that the characters that die less often usually get more prolonged and painful deaths! How can I put 20 characters at the top of the list? Well, read the previous sentence. And it's my list and not yours.

Read If you read the last post

Okay, so I've been neglecting playing Bayonetta due to the difficulty of a certain chapter, but I will continue playing it for the rest of the day until probably like 4 a.m. I will complete this game and review it once I can describe the game well enough.

On another note, I recently got Conker's Bad Fur Day off of ebay so I'll be able to play it within the next week or so. I'll continue complaining about various things it future rants and eventually I'll be able to come up with another top 5 and maybe get the time to make a top 10.

Notes about me:

I have plenty of spare time

I get new ideas at least once a day

I never complain about something stupid

I have an expanding game collection

I am messing around with Flash MX 2004 so maybe I'll create a little short on Youtube or something.

I love cartoons
