Having some PS3 controller issues. they seem to dissconect and kind of haywire every now and then....blue tooth must be sensative I guess, but its starting to get F***ing, annoying.

Seem to be having HDMI issues to, have for a little bit now. yay.

I guess its not blowing up like 6 of my "other" consoles did. Oh which reminds me, my cuzs 360 went crap up today for the 3rd time...lovely.

Oh and if your wondering why I havnt been playing Oblivion....might as well tell since Im semi irritated and pissed, is because my 360 left a big ring scratch in it...no I didnt move it either while it was on...or off. If I recall quite some tie back my 360s DVD drive made a crunching noise, I was pissed, blogged it, got over it...now its ruined my favorite game:(

I swear man this **** happens in to me in waves:( The 360 thing though happened before all these PS3 issues which just started this week....I just never said anything..Im not really sure whats wrong with either system if anyhting:(

Final Fantasy 12......makes me sick. The graphics are frigging unbelievable for PS2 graphics, they blow Zelda away...thats sad. The CGI is beutiful, the art direction is fab...I love the mix of drab and bright colors. Gives it a rustic middle east meets the orient kind of look.

With all that said...this game starts out boring as hell, and stays boring as hell...glad I rented it. The first hour Im running around town and out side doind a few chores for people, slaying a monster, blah blah blah. Its boring, I got to the second town and Im not interested long enough to play anymore...it sucks:(

The voice acting is cheese balls to the max, and the most disgusting change.......the battle system. Its like FF 11s...disguting is what it is, its like it mixes turn base with real time action, Zelda type combat but does it horribly....*pukes*

When an enemy is near you pree the x button to bring up your attack menu (no more random battles or load screens, you fight in the surrounding environment) and you have magic options and attack etc. but there is no defend option, and its basicaly you pick attack, but you dont control the attack.

A meter fills up and basically you just move your character close to it and it attcks, it feels confusing and feels like you have no defense at all, its horrible. FF was made for turn based combat. I like the no random battles, I like the just fighting in the environment instead of loading a battle screen, but the battle it self is boring, uninteresting and the controls are junk.

Also they have ruined the equipment options. For different armor you have to buy "licenses"...WTF they should just have different armor for different classes like every other FF game or clone of FF...Licenses just to equip armor? Sure magic maybe but it seems it takes forever to aquire enough license points to get these licenses..To F'ing confusing for me.

I have never had an RPG crap me like this one. I like all FF up to 7, 8 sucked, 9 was ok, 10 was WAY TO SHORT FF 10x2..please when is FF ever a sequel, FF 11..never forgiven square-gaynix for making it online only, FF 12, absolute, GARBAGE! Not even worth the bargain bin.

WTF has happened to square? FF13 had better not be like this. They want to change the battle system, thenmake it turn base or we have COMPLETE comtrol over the character, not a frigging stupid hybrid of the 2...very lame Square, shame on  you:(

So a lot of games this gen have been spread across all systems this gen, and honestly I think it sucks. Ill start off by naming a few that are Multi-plat, then I will name the rumored games. I will also give my opinion on why they should or shouldnt be multiplat.

Sure every console should maybe get all the sports games, and most generic FPS, but the really original games need to stay exclusive. A lot of gamers this gen will have all consoles because there are a few excellent exclusives coming to that system, but with out exclusives, MS, Sony and Nintendo are doomed, and actually Im not going to include nintendo in this, because most of the exclusives they have Are Mario, Zelda, Metroid and all things Donkey Kong, and Im bored with those, and nintendo isnt really next gen.

Anyway so here goes:

Saints Row: On the 360, and Yes its now confirmed for the PS3.

Why it should be: It should'nt, Its an Original franchise that it and its possble sequels should stay 360 bound. Why does Sony need it? Honestly GTA should be sony only,(always felt that way) ad MS could compete with this alone. I enjoyed Saints Row more than any other GTA or clone.

Also The PS3 will probably get it with all the DLs included on the Disc...Lame, but Ill own it:P

Why it shouldnt be: See above^

Oblivion: On the PC and 360 and now Confirmed for the PS3

Why it should be: Honestly Im 50/50 on this. I think everyone should experience Oblivion at least once. Its HUGE free-roam RPG gameplay is awesome and the graphics are top notch.

On the other hand just like morrowind was an xbox CONSOLE exclusive, maybe Oblivion should be the same.

Why it shouldnt be: Like Gears this game was a system seller when it came out. If the PS3 gets it, it may have the same effect, especially for those drooling for an RPG, or those who just didnt want the 360, or own a PC capable of running it. It just feels right on the 360...that and Im pissed I paid for those DLs when the PS3 version will probably have them from the start...no extra charge...at least Knights of the Nine for sure.

Two Worlds: According to GS Retail Radar has this one as coming to the PS3, but as of late it still PC, and 360 exclusive.

Why it should be: A WRPG would be good for a Sony console as the Sony platform is 95% JPRPGs...but it just doesnt feel right:(

Why it shouldnt be: The PS3 is getting Oblivion...but honestly I want JPRPGs to stay on the PS3 and western RPGs to stay on the MS console. Mostly for culture reasons. Blue Dragon may be made by the team who made Chrono Trigger, but I dont have faith in it..it looks and sounds like its "kiddy"..anyway:? It just feels Odd that MS would have a JPRPG and Sony would have a WRPG on there console.

.......................ok so my mind just went blank lol....I had all the multiplatform games in my head and I just forgot them all:P, and I dont wanna open a bunch of browser windows searching for them. So I will leave off with some games that are rumored to be multiplatform and why they should or shouldnt be multiplatform.

Devil May Cry: PS3, should stay that way no explanation needed, Same with Metal gear Solid. Always been best on Sony consoles and should stay that way.

Bio-shock: PC/360 exclusive, rumored to be coming to the PS3, eh another 50/50 for me. Would be good on both systems but maybe it should stay on the 360....of course its not like the 360 has a shortage of FPS though....but it is an original game.


Oh...GTA4: Coming to the PS3/360, same day.

Why it should: The GTA series can be a system seller...and now MS will be on a level playing field. They have always been timed Exclusive for the xbox.

Why it shouldnt be: GTA has (for me) always been better on the PS2. Sure the original xbox always had prettier shiny Graphics and better lighting effects, but they were always glitchier, and the frame rate seemd worse on the xbox versions..but they did look better, but had there flaws.

Anyway these are just my views, and honestly...dont amount to S***! So if you no likey...Oh well you will get over it:P

THIS looks promising:D Its like Oblivion MMO style...with no Fees:D I cant wait!
Yet it will still have a huge Single player campaigne to, which MMOs just dont have. the game is even a head of schedule...when does that ever happen:lol:

I was broswing the forums and just happened to see this topic in the PS3 forums about someone playing online with one of the Devs from Resistance and Ratchet and Clank.

Well I figured I would check it as it was probably crap, but it wasnt he really did and the Dev also accepting friend requests, which is pretty cool. Anyway there was some there who made a hilarious post and I figured I would just share it because I thought it was funny as heck.  Anyone who may be offended by Jesus humor  read not further:P

So as Ive mentioned a few times Im a HUGE Godzilla fan, I love the movies, have since I was a young lad, and the last 2 games put out were great. They had awesome 4 player battles online or off, and the story mode while cheese, was decent, with lots of unlockables, and fully destroyable environments.

Well Ive been waiting for those games to become backwords compatable for the 360.....but im sure it aint gonna happen. Well there is GOOD NEWS FOR ME!   I cant wait they are actually going to attempt a non-linear game using creatures from the Godzilla universe..I love it:D.....and its gonna be for the Wii:D All I can say is hopefully they get the controls right...and the game for that matter.

So I played resistance today, and my gaming joy has been renewed.

I put it in and started playing online...and Im hooked all over agian. I love this game! Then I started playing where I left off on Single player, and I just cant put it down.

It seemed for a while that I was bored with gaming but maybe I just needed a break. Playing resistance to day I ranked up twice online (you gain exp. ponints online) and got a clan Invite, so Im pretty pumped.

This game(for me) Is the best shooter Ive ever played. I guess the past few weeks I just forgot about it or something, because I dont remeber it being this fun:D I dont know what drew me to this game today but, Im glad it did. Its just so frantic and 40 player multiplayer is just NUTS!

I know Ive reviewed this game and bragged about it before, but its really opened my eyes today as to what games are fun. Ive played it like 5 hours straight today, mostly online, and Im loving it.

My gaming dpression is over. Resistance is the game Ill be playing until Crackdown comes. You just cant beat the Awesome online and excellently crafted Single player. Great Graphics and Gameplay, I cant say enough about this game:D:D:D

I got some good info from a friend about Lost planet so Im not even going to bother with it. Buying or renting wise. Its a TPS and I obviously just dont like those games, I more of a FPS fan, so if I didnt like Gears why would I like Lost planet..I wouldnt.

Ive fund myself posting here most of the past 2 weeks when I have ample time to play one of the 3 systems I have...but Im bored. The PS3 right now has the funnest games and demos, while the 360 Crackdown demo keeps me busy to....the Wii collects dust.

But still I find myself posting here more than gaming...and I dont know why:( Even the PS3 and 360 are starting to get boring. Am I reaching that age were Im just "falling out" of gaming, or is it just lack of games? It like I turn my 360 on get on live for like 10 minutes message some one and turn it off.....why am I even paying for this service? Just to leave it in limbo while I wait for great games? Doesnt make much sense.

I feel like I wanna play online...then all of a sudden I dont...want to play at all online or off...why? I dont even know why I bought a link to the past for the Wii VC...I dont want to play it. The PS3 is getting the most attention but even it is starting to go down hill:(

Am I an Idiot? I have ALL 3 NEXT-GEN SYSTEMS...WHY WONT I PLAY THEM? Im looking at $2000.00 just in consoels and accessories...but I dont play them....please someone punch me in the face..no really, Im a moron I guess.

I cant even fathom how many people would love to just own one of these consoles, but  cant afford or find them, especially the Wii and PS3 considering they are brand spanking new.

Why is it that all these games people love, I hate.I think Im just a spoiled 25 year old brat honestly. I should be cherishing these things, and be glad to have them, when others cant.

Maybe gaming in general has just gone down hill, maybe its not just me. Quanity over quality, Money over Loyalty that type of thing. Maybe I need therapy lol.

So Im going to pay Homage to some of the Greatest FPS that were ever made.

Marathon, Doom and Duke Nukem are some of the Heavy hitters in the FPS realm. Doom Sort of jump Started it while Duke Nukem, and Marathon kept it going in the Early 90s.

For those that have never heard of Marathon it was brought to you by..Bungie, the ingenious designers and creators of..The Halo Series. While Im not sure how much Commercial success Marathon had it, it helped push the envelope thats for sure, as if I remeber its one of the few FPS that ran on a Mac back in those days.

Its funny Doom and Duke Nukem ran on the same game engines but were actually considered competion lol. I believe though that Duke was one of the First FPS to have a jump button, maybe Marathon to but I dont remeber.

Honestly I didnt care for Marathon, but I have to pay it respect as it helped form FPS into what they are today. Resistance,, Unreal tournament, and the Like wouldnt be what they are today had it not been for these ealry games.

Quake and Unreal are Obviously the Newer Siblings of this Genre ( quake being the older of the 2)but good none the Less. When Quake first started it was basically just a fragfest with little Story or Single player value, but it Improved on a ton of game play points that doom failed in, like better controls, better visuals etc.

Unreal is quite the master piece to in this genre, I never played it much but had a lot of friends who religiously followed this game alomost if not more at times than Quake. It upgraded everything and took a piece of all those great games and made it better, I just wasnt particular to fragfest games though.

My point?.Look at the Next-gen and Last-gen CONSOLE versions of these games. Quake 4 for the PC rocked! Quake 4 for the 360 made me vommit. The game appeared as if it was only have done with good textures here, and horrible Orignal Playstation textures there. And a frame rate that would put a stroke patient in a Coma.

Unreal for the PC was Awesome, but the PS2, and Xbox version, were...ok at best. The Liandri conflict was Really the only Unreal that got any love or respect on a console I think. All of the unreals were by far better on the PC, not only graphically but gameplay wise to.

Look at prey. A game touted in the mid ninties just now coming out, using the Doom 3 Engine, which while great, the PC version was much better, and seemed to Age a bit better than the 360 version. Doom 3 was awesome for its time, one of my Favs, but Prey did the engine no Justice.

Now we keep hearing talk of Duke Nukem forever finally coming out, after all this time, and Obviously it will be for the PC and at least ONE next-gen console. Point is if it goes the way of the Great PC versions the Console Version will suck.
The past few Nukems were great on the there respective last-gen and before last-gen consoles, but PC ports dont seem to be doing all that great on the 360, Quake 4 is obvious proof of that.

Same with the Unreal tournament 3 coming to consoles, how much watering down will they do?

Maybe with games like unreal its acceptable but for greats like Doom and the Doom engine, and quake, and Duke Nukem they need to stick to PC. If I had a choice of Doom or Doom 3 Id take doom 3, but put Quake 4 or Prey into the mix and Ill take Original Doom any day over the 360 ports.

I would love to finally get to play a next-gen Duke Nukem but if they dont do it right....Dont do it at all. Dont tarnish the name of a great FPS if it cant be done right PC or console wise.

So Im bored. Could get my reviews done but I just dont have the urge really. The wait for Crackdown is frigging killing me.

It seems as of late Im enjoying the GTA trilogy more than any of my next gen games...yes even Oblivion lol. Ive got a TON of Downloads for Oblivion to just waiting to be used but Im not in the mood I guess.

Resistance and Dark kingdom are cool, but with the short experience you get from FPS and action games I want to save them for later lol. Fight Night is good but again I dont wanna beat it to soon.

Got rid of Zelda and just dont have the urge to even play the Wii in general.

Meh guess Im just gonna take a break for a while, I dont know. Problem is that us gamers now days are to damn spoiled. Expecting Triple A games every time we turn around.

Think Im going to get Scarface though for the PS2. While GS gave it a horrible rating, it was one of the most popular best selling games of the holiday season. The hell with reviews Ill just go by how many games are sold lol.

I just cant get enough free-roam I guess. As if Sanandreas wasnt big enough for me:P In hind sight I guess the only one that wasnt worth buying was The Godfather, at first it was great, then later on I realized Saints Row was better.
