Konami's mistake here is releasing an 8 month old demo. It really isn't giving people the right impression on the final product.

[QUOTE="Raiko101"]Decided not to pick up the cheaper Wii version, in the hope this will make it to Europe. Not overly fussed about the online, but would obviously prefer to play with others.spike6958
Look at the picture again. Europe is confirmed, with a Q3 2012 release.

It's just one source, i'm afraid. Sure, it's Edge, but it's still one source. In 20+ years of gaming, i've learnt that one source is never enough. Especially when the developers themselves have failed to confirm or deny such a statement. It usually means a misunderstanding or an assumption has been made. Or that the developer has unofficially announced a date to a third party, as they've not even confirmed plans themselves.

It really sucks to be in such a position. I'd sit down and really think about which games are going to last you the longest amount of time and pick one of those when you can afford one.

Whilst one may never have the intention of buying a particular game, ever, I know a number of people who have admitted to not buying a game as they've already completed it. I'm sure that many of the people responsible for pirating Xenoblade in America would have paid for that game at one point. Now they've played through it, why bother? Why not spend it on something new instead.

[QUOTE="Raiko101"]The Japanese have Zelda and Punch Out too, at the minute. I suspect that will be the order we get them in too. Randolph
I'd much rather see them and SMB as 3D classics.

The odd thing is, SMB was demoed in 3D before the consoles release. As was Punch Out. However, neither game made the cut for the 3D Classics Collection.

[QUOTE="Raiko101"]So hold on a minute. I'm not entirely following. Are people suggesting that making a copy of a game, one that they have no right to possess, isn't as bad as stealing one from the shop? meetroid8
I don't think it's a question of which is worse. They're both illegal and shouldn't be done.

Exactly!
