@sonypony4eva: it depends on how you use her. i'm not saying sheva/chris in re5 are perfect AI, but if you know how to use them they can be a good support.
1st don't tell them to attack (circle + up) when in a difficult fight, because yes he/she will run off to find enemies without too much respect for his/her own digital life. Instead have him/her on "cover" (circle). They will stay next to you (and occasionally in front of you, which you can change by simply aiming at them, then they'll move aside). In "cover" mode they will shoot their gun if multiple enemies come close but they will not shoot stunned enemies for example, so they won't ruin your melee setup like so many player-partners do.
Give them a weapon in certain situations, like enemy hordes, and take it from them when you don't want them to shoot or save ammo. your AI will hand over anything she has, including guns, if you ask for it. Don't let them go through the whole game unarmed or with the stunrod, both will cause them to get close to enemies and that will most likely damage if not kill them. the AI is deadly with a sniper rifle, because, well it's an AI and it almost never misses.
Don't give them a handgun or machine gun, because that will cause them to run out of ammo frequently. Instead give them a sniper rifle or shotgun, so they can impact the gameplay and sometimes even safe you from those cheeky enemies coming from behind. I'm doing my pro run with the AI and gave my Chris the Ithaca shotgun. It's not the most powerful, but powerful enough (using the hydra myself and haven't upgraded the other SGs) and it got a good chance of getting a critical headshot which happens a lot when the AI is using it.
I'm getting an S on most chapters and never got anything lower than an A on the ps4 version. I found playing professional with random players is much worth and causes way more deaths, because players are unpredictable and the AI is not. Again, not saying the AI is perfect and i had moments myself when i was dying next to the AI and it didn't care at all, but it is definitely manageable.
i didn't notice any glitches or framerate drops. one thing they should patch though is the hit detection of the knife. it used to have a large hitbox and was able to hit multiple enemies/objects with one swing. it's getting really annoying to hit every 2 barrels standing together twice, especially because it wasn't this way on the ps3.

Holy shit, i honestly didn't think gaming could get any better than dark souls. This is tied to personal preference of course, but man, i'm so excited to see what he comes up with in the future.
being able to play current ps4/x1 games is not an extra feature, it's one of the most important features to even sell these consoles. i really wonder how many players will buy these new consoles and for what reasons.
