@restatbonfire: you misunderstood. i did, like 15 years ago. dmc3 is my favourite of the series. i was just describing how dmc2 was the 1st 3d-action game is saw and brought me to buy a ps2 myself.
I just sort of randomly clicked on this article while waiting for an appointment at work. And i'm glad i did. Holy Crap, that Puzzle!!! Everyone check the link in the article about the Trials puzzle. That is incredible. And then in a Trials game of all games. Jesus.
@garysan: i liked the 2nd one. i think it's a good game. it's not a great game, with a lot of replay value for me, more like a play once and shelf kinda deal. because there are so many things to collect in the game the pacing is really off. sometimes you scrounge a map for an hour, then you have some tight 20 minutes story action, then it's off to free exploring and collecting stuff again.
that being said, i bought the game when it was released for ps4, then a week later (or so) Dishonored 2 was released and i didn't play Tomb Raider again until about 2 months back. i didn't really like it at 1st too, so whenever i thought of playing it, i was like nah, let's do something else. somehow at the beginning of this year i was in the right mood and finished the game in a week, plus another week for all the extra content. maybe you need to shelf it for a while too, someday it might speak to you ;) or did you finish it?
@drunk_punk: Til Schweiger's career can't be destroyed by bad movies (as evident by Far Cry, which was insanely bad). He's a famous actor in Germany. Doesn't mean everybody likes him or that he's the greatest actor ever, but he also directs and produces so acting is not his only foot in the movie-business. He plays a cop in a very popular German series (which like CSI has different series in different cities) and otherwise makes mostly romantic comedies or dramas. if you're up for some subtitles try "Honig im Kopf" (Drama) or "Der Eisbär". One of his greatest movies is "knockin' on heaven's door", it's pretty old by now, but it's still a really good movie.
