@Jaxith: don't know about "liking" either, but extremely white people need a higher sunblocker for example.

@deviltaz35: i totally agree with you. but big-budget titles are meant to sell good, so they're generally not to keen on experimenting or innovating. if you want new gameplay-ideas you should try smaller games. independent developers always make the greatest gameplay, because their ideas are not bound by corporate greed. a few tips: Transistor, The Swapper, Darkest Dungeon, Don't Starve

@ooozephyrosooo: not sure you understand how the game works. it auto-saves a lot, e.g. everytime you pick anything up. if you would quit at any time and the continue you would be right where you left off (except if you quit during a boss fight, then you'll be put just outside the boss area). if you die you get returned to the last lamp (i guess that's what you mean with "reset"?) and have to try again until you get to the next lamp. that's how the game works, and that's part of the challenge. the game helps you out with its leveldesign though. often the levels are designed like this: starting point, large level with multiple ways to explore, hidden paths and eventually a boss. at several points during the level you can find shortcuts that help you, in case you die, to get back to where you died. for example the 1st level of Yharnam is relatively big until you get to the (main) boss father Gascoigne. shortly before the boss fight there's an elevator that you have to initially unlock from the top. if you die at the boss you can then use the shortcut to get from the aforementioned starting lamp to the boss in under 5 minutes, while the 1st run through the level to find the boss will take you an hour or more. alternatively to those shortcuts, there are several lamps in a single level. the world is incredibly interconnected. the best example for this is the original Dark Souls, where you can walk from any point in the game to any other point. Maybe this helps you enjoy the games more.

@el_swanno: yeah, maybe you're right. well, best to just let it happen. it's not like we have any say in it. i only ever played Wild Hunt, so it's not even like i'm an expert in all things Witcher, since i haven't played the 1st two games or read any books. and having too many expectation will only result in disappointment. since it's a Netflix production my hopes are relatively high it'll be good and i'm sure whatever actors they choose will grow on me if the writing delivers.

@dkjenvey: what i meant was that my sub will never run out (just occasionally 4 days ;) ) BECAUSE i'm always gonna be on a playstation. you got my point, we just both misinterpreted a little bit.

i would definitely be down with your idea. then again, as you said, it doesn't make much of a difference for us if we both keep renewing the sub. also business-wise, i don't think Sony will want to somehow motivate people to unsubscribe. i know you'd see it as motivation to subscribe in the 1st place, but i doubt Sony would see it that way. as long as they remember my games after a short break, that's all that i could ask for. i regularly put some ps+ games in the library for a later download, but truth be told it doesn't happen often that i actually download and play one, because i usually have other games to play. notable exceptions were infamous - last light, Transistor (one of my favourite games of all time, and the only ps+ game i never deleted from my ps4), that clone-puzzle game and some other indie-titles. sometimes there are even games i really wanna try out, like Alienation, but i just don't get around to it. 2017 was a crazy, crazy year for my gaming tastes (releases i mean, not ps+ games). i got sooooo many good games that year i think i Alienation was the only title i actually downloaded for free. and i deleted it again without playing it, because i needed space. And no, i couldn't just delete Transistor.

@el_swanno: haha, right. i played some Bloodborne yesterday and after succesfully helping a few guys and killing an invader for a host that was afk (should have just let him kill him) i had to make a quick tour through the nightmare frontier to find our friend. parried her, killed her with a visceral attack, died from frenzy because i didn't have the sedatives equipped :D haven't played this in a while, forgot some stuff. i could've just popped a vial or two but i actually didn't think of that. instead i stood there trying to remember what i could do against the frenzy build-up. i also totally forgot that once you start to frenzy it will always fill up to trigger the life loss, i somehow thought the build-up would stop after she died, like with poison build-up.

@olddadgamer: holy shit Morrigan. you simply mentioning that name brings so many memories back. i still have the cinematic trailer for Dragon Age Origins on my ps3 (which is basically a cd player nowadays). loved her character. maybe that's why Chloe became my favourite Uncharted-character, subsconsiously, even though i didn't know about the voice actor back then.

@el_swanno: don't agree with you about them being too old. yen always struck me as something around 40, like basically all the other witches in Wild Hunt (Triss, Keira, Philippa, etc.), although they're probably much older, like Geralt.

i'm totally fine with lesser known actors though.
