i still think the game was released exactly as promised. i never played it, since the whole concept seemed boring to me, but i don't get why everyone was bashing it so hard. you can fly, discover planets, gather resources and build stuff - boring, yes, but the devs told everyone before. it's a game for people who like minecraft i suppose?

@Mogan: i love it. am currently towards the end of my third (and maybe final) playthrough. i played only human abilities first, then i played no abilities on nightmare and now i'm playing however i want (i got psychoshock 3, charm bio enemies 3 and electro bolt 3 and for the rest only human abilites like weapon damage) on nightmare.

i love the exploration part of this game so much. even on my 3rd playthrough i find new rooms through well hidden vents and such. and there's so many ways to move around and get access to new areas (the gloo gun alone gives you so many options, you got the recycler charges which can remove rubble in blocked entrances and of course hacking, repairing, agility 2 jump and so on).

as far as the difficulty goes i find it comparable to bioshock 2: it starts out hard, but eventually you feel overpowered (especially through the human abilities, even on nightmare difficulty). the 1st bioshock was better balanced, so that the endgame was really hard too even though you've had plenty of abilites, in bioshock 2 you really just went to town on everyone towards the end.

@sinister70: really? interesting perpective. i can't even keep up with all the interesting games that already came out this year (re7, nioh, horizon, nier, prey), so far i only got prey. but i still mostly play Dark Souls 3. I'm also very excited for Hellblade, Uncharted - the Lost Legacy, Dishonored - Death of the Outsider and The Evil Within 2, all of which will be released between august and october of this year. Since i'm off for three weeks in the summer i might be able to catch up a bit. Then again Spiderman and Red Dead Redemption are not really my games, so we seem to have different tastes. But from my perpective this year is one of the best in gaming ever.

7 years for real? Felt like the last one was last october... I only liked the 1st 3 movies anyway (with the 1st still being very far above the rest), after that it felt like it was only disgusting to be disgusting, but no more real tension. I can enjoy some gore, but there has to be more to it than "just gore".

@kanekan-slaugh: yeah i know what you mean. i totally couldn't stand him talking to his suit (even though that kinda worked with Tony building his suit). Or maybe the actor wasn't that good at monologues so they built it in. The movie did have some charm though, but it may also be the fact that this is the 2nd spiderman reboot and the idea of who peter parker is got only more vague by replacing him so many times.
