@naomha1: Ha, i found that out too with scientist's little secret. 1st time i just wondered where he went because the feed went on for quite a while, then i just caught a glimpse of him doing something but didn't quite get it so i replayed the whole thing and found out. I love these sort of exporation secrets and the game trusting you enough to not giving you any hints.

The other thing you mean, was that the 1st safe you come across? i didn't climb and i'm wondering what you mean now. I figured out the combination from the erased whiteboard, by looking at it long and hard i guessed what numbers it could have been (numbers 2-4 can still be made out, number 1 had to be guessed). in the end it came down to x150 or x160 so i just tried all possible combinations based on those numbers.

Lastly i'm not too sure on buying any Alien Powers either on my 1st playthrough. I'm not too scared of the turrets (i think you can still hack them when they're hostile), i just don't need them at the moment, as all problems i came across were solvable with Combat Focus + Shottie or Handgun. Even a Nightmare enemy, which seemed to be a big deal, because it became a main objective the moment it appeared went down without even getting a chance to attack me. This is a good thing though, because i play on hard and pretty much all attacks are devastating on this difficulty. The one thing i haven't found a good solution for yet is fight a technopath in space :( as soon as i see one i'll fly as fast as i can.

i still to this day miss a single trophy for this game. i think it was about beating all challenges, or beating the last challenge. I just couldn't do it. Maybe i should try again now? I still have my ps3...

Great game with great mechanics. Such a blast to play!

@craigtl: Depends on wether it is set in the USA or not i'd say ;) For the rest of the world it's quite unusual to have a gun in a common household.

@nadsat-77: I can't argue with your points either. Bloodborne was a blast to play and the (Cursed) Dungeons you had to farm for the best Bloodgems were tough as hell (oh those red spider summoners, still haunting me).

Needless to say i would get Bloodborne 2 day 1, but i would also like the Devs to explore some new ideas/directions for this style of Action-RPG.

@Myron117: yeah, i remember the reviews saying the game was actually too long for its own good. Well i don't care much for rewies anyway. Some games that Gamespot/IGN rated "bad" i had a ton of fun with. I'll be sure to try Alien someday. It can't be that expensive anymore ;) I just have the problem that at the moment there are far more games than i have time to play. Where were all those games in 2015/16, when i was frequently bored because of the lack of interesting games? :)

Sounds pretty stupid to me. Kinda like The Evil Within couldn't be named that, because there's a game called Resident Evil. It doesn't seem to matter though as they were already kinda ok with "praey". It's of course a bit less elegant in its double meaning as "Prey for the Gods" would have been.

@nadsat-77: Don't know. They barely had enough ideas for weapons in the original game. Or do you think it was on purpose?

I loved Bloodborne and played the hell out of it, but i was fed up with it much faster than any other Souls game. The two main reasons for that were from my perspective: lack of weapons and therefore lack of builds, AND barely any incentive to start ng+ cycles (yes the game got harder like other Souls games, but unlike other Souls games the content got smaller on ng+ cycles, because bosses didn't drop anything that felt like a reward anymore, if you already got their badge on ng, they drop a madman's knowledge, tsss, and there were no new items or new enemies).

I'd rather see a new take on Souls, just like Bloodborne was, but then not Bloodborne 2 and instead a completely new setting like Space Souls.

@Simulator_Shock: It's the one i'm looking forward to the most as well. But why would it run during Sony's conference? Hoping for an end of this year release.

New console next year!? Haha, well that's ok. Judging from the ps4 it'll take probably until 2021 to justify a purchase of that new console. That's how long it took before it made sense to buy a ps4. 1st year had nothing (i wanted to buy it, but i couldn't because of the lack of games), 2nd year had Bloodborne (my reason to finally buy the console) and the Witcher, 3rd year had Dark Souls 3 and Uncharted 4, 4th year..., well we're at the beginning of May and there were already more interesting games than the last 3 years combined.

What exactly are they thinking?

@Myron117: I have not. Although i did watch some streams. It looked cool, but at the time there were other games that i preferred over Alien Isolation. Also it's pretty much a run & hide game, right? I prefer more gameplay options, like Dishonored usually offers.
