Where did you hear that from?,I never heard that one before.

sakura_Ex

Its been pretty well known, of course the same engine can be used to drastically different results and ME looks great, but agree Uncharted is better.

Now if you'll all excuse me, I have classes to go to.

uh oh shiney rocks...we all know where this is going.
achilles614

However, this game unlike some *cough*Kameo*cough* has a decent reason for shiny rocks. Namely an extremely rainy region in which that particular shot is taken. You'll notice it isn't shiny where there is a large quantity of moss.

when i look at gears i see huge buildings and awesome textures in most places

mingo123

When I look at Gears I see great artistic design and gross levels of normal mapping.

Uncharted has some nice visual details that are more a matter of thoughtful art direction than technical prowess; other than that, its graphics look decidedly average and definitely not better than Gears.OremLK

Thats precisely what I think when I look at Gears..

in regards to the CPU fan, it seemed to be spinning fine, but i will clean it out with some air compressor, also would it need a new coat of thermal paste? PLus i'll have a look at the heat sink and clean it out too.momo372

If you are removing the CPU fan to clean it you will need to reapply thermal paste (if the temperature remains a bit high for a while after you do that, its because it hasn't set yet) but don't put more than a tiny amount or it can be basically the same as not having any..if not worse.

[QUOTE="RichterBelmont7"]uATX isn't the same as ATX and not all cases that use ATX can use uATX. Spartan8907
Somethings not right. You're telling me that that board will not fit in a standard ATX case when listed that boards specs, it says, Form Factor: ATX, Dimensions: 12.0" x 9.6". Now I could be wrong, but isnt that the standard dimensions for all ATX mobos?

Thats an ATX form factor alright. Suppose I should have done a better job at looking at that (it was late) uATX on the otherhand is a fair bit smaller than ATX (9.6" x 8.4").

[QUOTE="perfect_chao"]should have gotten the gtx instead of GT.. but then again, crysis plays like a slug on either card so might aswell wait until the new 9800 GTX cards come.GTSaiyanjin2

The retail version of Crysis will be more optimize than the demo... anyways 2 GT's are better then the GTX right ?

Yes, they should be. As is the GT appears pretty competitive with the GTX so in SLI they should beat it. Heat probably won't be too big of an issue either, by my understanding the 8800GT is MUCH more efficient than the GTX.
