@helixt: So one has survived upto now, If Sea of thieves isn't their best game ever which they promise, I can see Microsoft redistributing Rares team soon after release.
Most studios that Microsoft has bought over the years are never heard from again, or release one rushed title then their team is redistributed.
Some of developers of my favorite games over the years have been bought out by Microsoft and then been killed off, FASA, Digital Anvil, Lionhead the list goes on and on, Microsoft is totally controlled by its shareholders and if something doesn't make a profit they kill it, Doesn't matter that having a wider range of game Genres on the Xone would make it sell alot better.
Really bad move, Microsoft has a habit of killing Niche titles, Fable Legends, Phantom Dust and now Scalebound, People buy a system due to games like those, because there isnt anything like them on other systems, Microsoft consoles will always sell well because of their loyal fanbase, but that fanbase won't grow if you cant draw in the niche gamers at all.
@Strategizer: Patches don't normally add to the size of file unless they are adding extra content, normally they just overwrite the parts of the file that need fixing.
