Haze, White Knight Story, Folklore, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo, Uncharted so get a PS3.
If you want to keep waiting and waiting and waiting for something, Anything! to play on the wii then get a wii, unless you really want a dust collector?
So far it looks like its get a PS3 to PLAY games.

The real issue is that now that the Wii is selling its bye, bye to the folks that got them there as the new focus for Nintendo is finding more casuals to purchase it and lets forget about real issues like having a STEADY supply of QUALITY games to play every week or two.
Therefore the hate for Nintendo from an increasing amount of gamers that feel disenfranchised with results so far and being nickel and dimed to death at every turn is unwarranted by Nintendo. Toss in the "We will give you a game when We feel like it" and is it any surprise that threads reflect that gamers that want a steady supply of quality games are very upset at purchasing a Wii?
Anywho a better message of anger is for gamers and friends to just stop purchasing anything that is a Nintendo Console or game or a product intended to be used on a Nintendo console and to inform others that a better purchase is either a 360 or a PS3.
Money talks and the best message is to vote no more purchases for those that are unhappy.
[QUOTE="RussellBurrows"]"Excellent point. And it shows that even though Nintendo is trying to broaden it's reach, the more casual gamers aren't dumb and can tell a good game from a bad one just like the rest of us. Brain Age and Boogie are both casual games, but Brain Age is the better of the two, and the sales reflect that."
And just HOW? are casual gamers going to be able to tell a good game from a bad game?.I pity the poor child whoose only birthday gift from parents is wiiplay or some other insipid Wii trash game. The hate comes from getting the hype of only innovation and plenty of good games and nextgen console from Nintendo and the truth is plenty of TRASH games and the only real innovation is a low price point that created plenty of console sales with a console that from most considerations is a GameCube with tacked on motion controls. No one likes getting ripped off by Nintendo.CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I'm not really sure what your point is in there, but I'll try to respond anyway. You seem to be inferring that casual gamers are somehow too ignorant to know whether the game they are playing is fun or not. That's a little bit of an elitist point of view, in my opinion. My 70 something year old grandfather plays Pac Man on his SNES for a minimum hour and a half every day. Most people would consider him a casual gamer, but his game of choice is one of the greatest of all time. When a game is fun, it will rise to the top, no matter if it's casual or hardcore.
And now games say on the box how good they are or just how bad they suck?
Is there a forced education of every single casual Wii gamer that educates them on what is good and what is bad as soon as they enter a point of purchase?
No.
The casual consumer sees box after shiny box with nothing to tell them if the Wii games is a must buy or a rip-off.
And most of those wii games suck so probability dictates that the casual consumer will select a terrible Wii game and continue to get ripped-off thus creating consumer by consumer a hate for the maker of the console that in their view has bad games.
Developers learned from doing DS games that low investment games at least stand a chance to re-coup the initial investment.
Developers learned that for the most part investment in high expense games for the Game Cube stood small chance of getting back the initial investment versus Nintendo games.
Is it any wonder that developers are going with the formula of low investment Wii games since if they bomb they are only risking small potatoes to begin with. Therefore I expect Wii Game Developers to stay the course. So its just the same as the Game Cube days with few Nintendo games worth playing and plenty of third party trash since the Sheep only buy Nintendo first party games. So yea I say to You verily that I am very pissed that I jumped into the Wii hype and got little in return.

I am def not a fanboy, I have been gaming prolly longer then you have been alive. Umm and ok I spent 250 dollars, I get to play Super Paper Mario, Zelda TP and prolly one more, SMG, Metroid 3, zack and wiki, prolly a new kid icarus game, oh and i can back catalogue a crap load of some of the best games ever as an additional feature which will cost me 5-10 bucks...how much is MS charging for their mediocre XBLA games....
And really I am sorry that you don't have a job to buy nice things. You were almost right though but my PC cost me around 3000 dollars to initially build and is still worth over 1300.

And why dont I believe anything you say and much less what you say you "have" in your sig?
Once you experience 5.1 THX DTS Dolby Digital sound formats for in game sound/effects/music/ambiance there is no going back to yucky pro-logic sound like what you have in the wii. Play Bioshock on the 360 with great sound then try Resistance on the PS3 with great sound and then go for the LETDOWN of listening to what the Wii has for "sound"............bah! cheap sound is never good.
im thinking of getting a wii so thats why im askinghsj_gamer
If you like millons of others have a hometheater setup and want to enjoy 5.1 Dolby Digital sound in games the same as in movies then the response is no.Hardware limitations on the Wii mean that the best you can hope for is stereo or matrix stereo a standard fine for games and movies ten years ago but passe by todays quality standards.
I never thought of it as a big deal, of course the thread creator thinks differently.
Ohhhh I see. Well, wait until SSBB and SMG come out. Then the thread creator will think differently. There is no Dolby Digital 5.1 sound on the Wii console nor is there any fix for this problem as its a hardware limitation specific only to the Wii home console since we are talking about home consoles. This limitation is very notable when going from a 5.1 movie soundtrack when viewing a movie on a dvd player/home theater in a box setup and then deciding to play on the Wii.And not everyone uses a tiny tv with small speakers since there are hometheater in a box setups that cost 140 dollars and under for openbox specials.
