Yeah, sorry guys. Calling for a day break. My marathon abruptly ends here. I'll try again this Summer (or maybe sooner) when I have six weeks of chillaxing'.
I was just having too much fun sledging with my buddies.

Yep only a three and a bit less quarters to go.
And school closed an hour before finishing because of "heavy snow fall". Weird...
Even though I can't remember, I apparently betted with @Charizard1065 that if he were to dish out seven excellent reviews in seven days, I'd do the same. Well here you are. I wrote two reviews today because both games lack any more information than 600+ words. At the same time guys, you can sponsor me by having a read of them. After all, they're only 600 word reviews. And as you probably guessed(?), my Microsoft Enterprise Suite came today. Great stuff.
By the way my HD Concept Intro may only be understood by British inhabitants.
My Microsoft Suite still hasn't come.

I had a little clear up with my Emblems and so now I only have three.

In school, I got an A* in my English Coursework which I'm pretty happy with. I'm now 10% into my English GCSE and so far my average is a mid A. Let's hope I keep it that way.

I got quite a few games yesterday. Killing Floor which I had previously missed was back on sale and so I bought it. It looks so awesome, and much better than Nazi Zombies. The amount of variation of levels and zombies will keep me stoked for a while. Better still, I only payed £3.75 for it ($5.) The three other games I got were the one's I previously listed - Plants vs. Zombies, Titan Quest: Gold Edition and World of Goo. All four games added up to £18.24 ($27.50).
So looking back, I spent a hefty £34.34. But god was it worth it. I won't be buying any games for at least another few months, unless another (few) Steam Deal(s) come along...
I can't post or finish up any of my reviews until I receive my Microsoft 2007 Enterprise Suite in the post.

I've helped return the Ice Horn from the depths of the Dwarves Cavern in Final Fantasy III
I've completed the mission on Noivera in Mass Effect and am en route to the Tai, something Cluster.

The Steam Sale ends today so I'm planning on buying Plants vs. Zombies, Titan Quest: Gold Edition, World of Goo and maybe one or two others which should add up to around £20.00 ($30.00.) I started downloading Battlefield 2 prior and within three hours it's already on 48%! Hopefully it'll be done before the evening finishes.
EDIT: Battlefield's now finished downloading.
I played about an hour of Torchlight. Great fun. I'm now installing all my other Steam Games. I think this is the last day of Steam's Sale so I might nab some games that were on Sale but weren't cut down further on the Special Day Sale's like Plants vs. Zombies or World of Goo.

I managed to get Mass Effect running by bypassing the Configuration Utility - long story, no time to explain. It's deep and certainly epic. I'm on Noivera trying to find Saren's secretary. Strange thing is, I've maxed out all the settings but the visuals aren't even that impressive. Ok, they are, but not from what I've seen in Video Reviews. They just seem slightly pixelated and washed out. And I wish I could use my 360 Gamepad.
Regardless, from what I've played so far, Mass Effect is as good as Sci-Fi gaming gets. Fairly simple RPG mechanics are seamlessly ingrained in top-notch prolific, third-person shooting. If you haven't bought it yet, I can't reccomend it enough. From what I've heard, it's a 60 hour adventure and for that, that's brilliant value for money. Especially now it's only worth a few notes.
EDIT: I was wrong. Mass Effect is a 12 hour long adventure.
My computer arrived yesterday but the family had to do some radical change overs. My old computer was given to my Mum and so had to go in her Office. My Dad who temporarily gave his Laptop to my Mum moved it back to his Office. And then we had to kick my Brother's big, box tv out of the way and make room for his Toshiba.
So today was all about getting my computer in the study (or at least my parents call it a study. Yeah, for reals...) It fits quite snuggly behind my Sony so no complaints there and though the interface of Windows 7 is a much bigger step up in terms of interface from XP, I manged to install all my important programs within an hour such as Mozilla, Spotify and Steam etc, etc.
So with that over and done with I can focus on playing all my Steam Games I previously bought. I'll first start with Torchlight since I loved the Demo. I'll also play Mass Effect in some gorgeous specs as my previous computer couldn't handle the visuals. Oh, and I tried for pictues but Explorer and Mozilla wouldn't allow them.
EDIT: Mass Effect now officially sucks. Quad Core Processors cause it to configure badly so it can't play. This is apparently a well known problem and so Bioware are releasing a new patch to deal with this. Damn, don't Bioware realise all serious PC Gamers use Quad Core?
I'm Staff Sergeant Bronze on Battlefield and I still haven't completed my review.
I'm also now Level 70 on Modern Warfare 2 and so after brushing up on a few challenges I'll be moving to Prestige.
I've just got back into Uncharted's Multiplayer, remembering just how much fun it used to be. It's a brilliant subsitute to Gears of War's multiplayer which I still thoroughly recommend.

I bought the Max Payne Bundle of Steam. And I'll play it once I get my new desktop up and running which arrived today. My Brother also got his late Christmas present which was a 32" 1080P Toshiba. And just like me, he had to contirbute a third of the £300 he received towards the telly.
Happy New Year!
Let's cut the crap. I'm a budget based gamer, and one who hates backlogs. So I don't think it would do justice for me to do my Game of the Year list without having actually played possible contenders such as Assassins Creed II or Demon's Souls. So right now I'd be otherwise doing a 2008 Game of the Year list. Problem is, I'm yet to play one more game. Dead Space. And guess what? I haven't completed my 2007 list either. So that's why I'm not doing a Game of the Year list. Rant over.

I haven't quite finished my Battlefield 1943 review. I've splurged it all out. It just needs to be condensed.

I might buy Max Payne which is selling for £1.50 ($2.50) or alternatively I could buy both for £2.24 (£3.50.) What do you guys think? Do you think I'd appreciate it, even though it's a good few years old?
I'm not very good at movie reviews so here's my breakdown.
The first 3/4 is dragged on, intellectual crap which is otherwise fascinating and fleshed out. It really sheds a light on us as humans and how selfish we really are. I loved it... even if it cut into one or two hours of my precious sleep. The last quarter however was even better; the action was immense, and all the more overwhelming, which was only furthered with a hard-hitting, emotional soundtrack. And the 3D Glasses? They were the cherry on top. My only complaint was the economic class viewing at a staggering, and uncomfortable 2 and a 3/4 hours (even in Premier Seats.) Complaints aside though, the movie could be best described as B-E-A-UTIFUL.

In other news I attempted to buy Killing Floor. So with an hour to spare I was at the checkout checking my purchase and then annoyingly, Gabe Newell decided to bump up the price. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait for it to go back down next Christmas.
