well the roster was essential for mk9, even tho i never use any of them, only one i didn't buy was freddy for obvious reasons.. that would be like goin to a mk arcade and finding certin characters missing, so it was manditory.

if u don't wanna feel like u own *half* a game then yea.. ya do... especially dlc's that involve extra guns, characters, ect cause it will drive u absolutely nuts wondering what your missing, and the big companies are counting on this, thats fvcked up..
there are flaws such as overcomplicating things like simply turning a valve can be an aggrevating task, but other than that its freakin awesome, damn sure better than kz3..Well for officially playing killzone 2 almost all night I can honestly say that it is better than KZ3. Once you get a hang of how to shoot accurately and how the overall feel of the game is, then it is a blast. What really wins this game over is the ability to mix and match abilities, the sniper is way more balanced than in KZ3, campaign isn't riddled with pathetic cutscenes like KZ3, campaign feels more like a shooter rather than a low budget movie, and multiplayer is just overall balanced with regards of equiping weapons and abilities.
I used to stick up for KZ3 because KZ2 people used to bash it all the time. But now I see their point of view, and agree with them. KZ2 is still better than KZ3. But thats not saying KZ3 is a bad game, its a decent game, but not as solid as KZ2. Jetpacks need to be patched into KZ2 lol.

Saints Row: The Third? No way is that even close to half a game. It's a bunch of cheat codes and weapons... The season pass stuff so far was a collection of re-skinned mini-games... Hopefully the stuff that is still coming out is good. Don't really know about Halo as I don't play it or other FPS's since that genre has pretty much stagnated the last several years.. MvC3? No way dude.. The DLC to that is costumes and 2 characters... Not even close to half a game... Other Capcom titles? I dunno, not the ones I play though.MethodManFTWdude your seriously missing the point, i don't care if the dlc is 50 cents, thats still RE-PAYING money on a game i ALREADY paid money for, and even if it was free, not everyone keeps there ps3 online 24/7 and not all of us wanna be forced to jump online just to get everything a game has so we won't feel left out... it blows my freakin mind that there are people who condone this type of crooked sh!t.
lets see... mass effect 2 is a good example, u don't have the dlc u really don't have the game.. mk9 omg, no comment.. some games are even starting to add a 2 part series on dlc, basically a mini sequel or add on to the story through dlc.. its just wrong.
are u fvcking kidding me??? thats why i can't toggle crouch? cause its only for *multidiot* thats just lovely... now there even giving extra options only for mp, whats next? select mp or u can't even play the game??? omfg i wish that stupid mp sh!t had never been created...1) I can confirm there is a toggle crouch option but its for Multiplayer only, go into an online game and press Start then Controls to select toggle crouch
2) The online community is still quite active, depends on your preferences for online play of course but theres always a game to join
3) Snipers in KZ2 can stealth and 1 shot but when they get a kill they unstealth, I find Phyruss Rise map is the worst one for being pawned by snipers as its a long map but sniping is not really that big an issue for a lot of other maps as they tend to be smaller or enclosed or designed in such a way that sniping isn't really the best option.
4) The only time I buy DLC is if its in physical form but yea I've heard the maps for KZ2 are worth the money from many people
5) I have no idea if these DLC maps are available offline, I can't even find any info on google about that one but I would hope so

It's funny. Back when add-ons were "expansion packs" that you bought on a seperate disc at the retailer everyone loved it. Now that it's DLC everyone thinks it's the worst thing to happen to video games.
worlock77
There's a big difference between the expantion packs we got 15 years ago and the dlc we get now.
This I think is the best illustration of that:

There really isn't. The only difference is to people who get too worked up over this stuff.
dude if u truly beleave this than u are a tool, and i feel sorry for you.. u can't honestly beleave its fair to keep sucking money out of our wallets after we buy a game via relentlessly tempting us with DLC, saying to the consumer *hey u! you only have half a game, want the full version? buy this!* thats not only wrong its just plain mean, not to mention it gives companies an outlet to keep milking a games profit endlessly as long as they wanna continue making new sh!t.. i just don't get how anyone could approve of this scam.Well yeah of course you dont have unlimited gun jams.. That'd be a little over powered... But yeah, I've never died at that spot before.. Died in the joker train fight a few times tho.[QUOTE="MethodManFTW"][QUOTE="ShangTsung17"]
i personally don't beleave the comments claiming its easy, sure thats just sh!t talking... in any event everyone is entitled to there opinion, gun jam idea is bs cause u only get 2 uses of it and well, there's about a dozen snipers, yea i tried that method as well first few times, joker train brawl wasn't easy but i learned the trick was to focus on taking out all low level thugs first, challange maps are irrelivent, have no clue why someone brung that up.. like i said the sniper ally is the one *only* part i died on a few times, try taking a few out then going around the buildings, always works for me..
Tigerman950
Funny you say that, I'm stuck at this part yet I didn't think the Joker train fight was that bad at all...
yea the joker train brawl wasn't sh!t really, they try to throw u off by attacking with titan thugs and what not, but long as u stay focused it ain't sh!t.. glad u finally beat it, yea once the joy of the huge sand box wears off u realise it is a very short game, i think one way it would've been better was if u could've done all the side missions without having to progress the story, i fvckin hate how if u wanna beat one side mission u gotta go further in the story to unlock it, thats just stupid, but overall great game.. one of the funnest i've ever played.i personally don't beleave the comments claiming its easy, sure thats just sh!t talking... in any event everyone is entitled to there opinion, gun jam idea is bs cause u only get 2 uses of it and well, there's about a dozen snipers, yea i tried that method as well first few times, joker train brawl wasn't easy but i learned the trick was to focus on taking out all low level thugs first, challange maps are irrelivent, have no clue why someone brung that up.. like i said the sniper ally is the one *only* part i died on a few times, try taking a few out then going around the buildings, always works for me..
dude this is imo the most difficult part of the entire game, its the ONLY part i've ever died on.. the clayface fight *last boss* was nowhere near as hard as getting past this area... so i feel your pain, the way i always do it is i go around the buildings, take one or two out and stay on the ground sneaking to the destination, remember that once u get out of there vicinity your home free, try to make your way to the court house, far as i know thats where the snipers hit vicinity ends.
