So Capcom addressed the counter-picking issue? Good. They should have gotten this right in the first place... but hey, better late than never.

They didn't do anything about Zangief's very stupid PPP Lariat which, for some reason beats SWEEPS. The PPP Lariat has NEVER trumped sweeps in the past, which meant Gief players had to actually THINK about using the PPP vs. KKK Lariat. Now, it's completely brain-dead... just use the PPP Lariat every time, in all situations, no matter what. Lariat, lariat, lariat. I love this game, but seriously... how can Capcom be oblivious to this very obvious and troublesome problem?

Rant about Lariat over. Commencing rant about useless PS3 update. Are you SERIOUS Capcom? Why not just say "we have nothing exclusively for the PS3." It would be better than this useless, embarrassing new "feature."

Why is it 2009 and developers still seem like they've never played videogames? Bah...

You remember when I said you sound like my friend Delo? Well, you remind me of him in another way too: your playing style. There's just something inexplicable about the things you do... something that makes me want to say "man... that was random..." But at the end of the day, there's nothing to do but give credit where it's due. You pull some crazy stuff, but you make it work for you.

I'm training for EVO but I'm not totally sure if I can go yet. I should know by the end of the month.

On a different note, I am now officially a owner of the Tournament Edition Fightstick for the PS3. I am now going to be a one man wrecking machine with this baby. You guys don't understand how good I feel about having one of these things in my room. I also have an XBOX 360 waiting at Game Crazy for me for Friday and I don't know if I want to let my friend buy it or get it for myself. Happy days.

I finally climbed my way back up over 3K this morning, and the ride back up was a-NOY-ing. I'd get to about 27K, lose once, dip back down to 25-26K, get back up to about 28K, lose again... grrr...

Been spending more time training with Balrog, and I went on a pretty nice tear before walking away at 3020 BP.

Well okay, that's probably not my favorite ever, but I'm playing Chrono Trigger for the first time right now, and I thought that was a really goofy line from one of the NPCs.

I beat F-Zero GX on the GameCube on Master Class. And I mean, I beat it - all the modes, everything. That was crazy hard to do and I was very, very pleased with myself afterward.

Yeah, it looks great. And yes, I'm a fan. But I'm still holding out on getting KoFXII because of the small cast.

But it's not just that, it's the fact that there are only 2 female characters and a lack of Mai. Which boggles my mind because SNK/PLaymore put in two really unpopular characters like Shen Woo and DuoLon (Who?) while leaving out Mai, Chang, Choi, Yuri, Blue Mary, Rock, B. Jenet, Whip, K', Geese etc. Also, I don't know why SNK/Playmore is really trying to push that Ash Crimson guy as the protagonist of the series. I mean, it's a dude for crying out loud! When I first saw him I thought he was a she! Kyo or Terry Bogard should ALWAYS be the main characters.

Anyway, the console version is supposed to have more characters added but we don't know who. There's a rumor that K' and Mai are added.
