The 8(4?)-core processor is fantastic news for PC gaming. We should start seeing a lot more games taking advantage of quad-core desktop computers.
DirectX 11.1 support is also great for PC, as games can be coded from the ground up to support it, instead of being coded as DX9 with DX11 features added in. Those GPU specs aren't too shabby either; about equivalent to an entry-level enthusiast card.
Lots of RAM. Great! Say hello to high resolution textures. No more disgusting 512-meg images in our games.
At least a couple of popular commentators awarded this game "Worst Game of the Year."
I never heard one positive thing about the first game. Regardless of how many units it sold, when everyone speaks very negatively about the game, how do you then expect a sequel to do well?
@Ernesto_basic @Vojtass Are you brain dead? It's a teaser trailer to grab the attention of developers world wide, so can they pull in talent onto the project.
Building some early hype, and teasing The Witcher 3 announcement (encoded in the message that every Witcher fan has read by now) are bonuses.
@Wizallah Amazon has great summer sales too, but that's not really the point.
Those Steam sales still result in money going to the pockets of the developers/publishers, and are usually games that are past their shelf life in stores; even digital sales for those games would have greatly slowed (relative to release), so a huge influx on sale dates is great profit in anyone's books.
