Wow, good thing I got an error creating a new thread or mine would have been the third on at the exact same time LOL
Same here, no tabs or banner. Clicking on the "now playing" took me to my games list so its just the tabs/banners missing.

This has been frustrating me ever since I started looking at the games for the Wii a couple of days ago.
On the Wii games list you can list the Virtual Console games separately. Great!
BUT.... you knew a but had to be in there.
When you select just Wii games it lists all the "store bought" games the Virtual Console games together.
It's extremely frustrating.
Some folks (like I will not) don't have their Wii hooked up to the internet and every time I look for a game on Gamespot I must first check and see it is a console game or not. I know I'm going to be missing out on a lot of games because I cant get broadband in the cabin where my Wii will be but must Gamespot constantly taunt me because my little mountain town vacation home is behind the times?
We can look at Wii Virtual Console games as their own category we should be able to look at the regular ones separately too.
~~takes notes and will look at other's choices ;)
I have two, one for travel the other on my desk.
I like hard surface mouse pads and I'm happy with both of them.
If I had to pick I like the TT one better but that might be because I use it more.
The desktop one is a Thermaltake Gamma Pad and it's pretty comfortable.
It lights up and looks nice. I think you can still get them at Radio Shack
The other one is a X-Ray Thunder 8 Gaming Pad.
It sounds very similar to the Razer Exactmat, MyopicCanadian described.
It has 2 surfaces like that one. One is smooth the other is sorta textured.
It came with a travel tin which is kinda nice.
They both run about 20 bucks USD + shipping.
~edit~ I like that Exactmat, aluminum core? Nice. Definitely slick looking.
Each rating has specific guidelines that are open to the public to see. The ESRB doesn't make developers do anything. It also doesn't say that AO games should be banned. All the ESRB does it rate games according to their system. If companies don't want AO games published, that's their choice. It's also the choice of game developers to (not) create content that would achieve such a rating. You're making the ESRB out to be the bad guy here, when they're just doing their job.

I commented on this in the Manhunt mega thread because I felt that was the more appropriate place for what I had to say :)
Manhunt 2 is at the forefront of this subject because it exposes what has long been known but rarely talked about.
This quote was sniped from the end of a post by Kroubi defending the ESRB in another thread and prompted me to write this. LINK
"The ESRB is just doing their job"
Maybe so.
Let us not forget who created and funds the ESRB and that is the ESA.
The Entertainment Software Association. (The gaming industry trade association)
And lets also not forget they anticipated what's happing now and did so long ago in 1994. The ESRB has obviously grown and changed since then but their original purpose remains the same.
The ESRB was created for the sole reason of preempting the efforts by other groups to exert control on the gaming industry. Console company's don't want to be told what content they can or cannot include/sell in their games so they give this task to a organization created by them. Do you think there would be nearly as much gore or violence in games if the government were in charge of deciding who gets to play them and who does not? Do you think Best Buy will carry M rated video games if they need a license to sell them? How do you purpose we pay for enforcement? THIS is why politicians are so eager to jump on the anti video game band wagon. Because its something they can get the public angry and scared about without actually making them think their going to get blown up or have to pay more taxes. No its we gamers that will have to absorb the cost.
What has happened is that the console manufactures have given the ESRB the right to ban games and that's it. Nothing more nothing less. They (console manufacturers) are not going to change the system their going to use this as a shining example of how the system is working and there is "nothing more to see here Mr. and Mrs. public, move along, we can watch over ourselves. Please don't sour the milk from our cash cow, we will make sure only low fat is on the shelves."
They don't want anyone other then themselves regulating their multi billion dollar a year industry.
editedto remove theunconfirmable ten billion dollar a year industry value estimate.
Not necessarily. WINZIX most certainly is and if it a file made by that program
then you need that program to uncompress it.
You did not answer my question.
Where did you get it?
Is it part of a game?
If it is the it's probably a video.
If its something you downloaded from the net its probably a trick to get you to download
that program.
It might have been made by someone who was already tricked into thinking WINZIX is a
free kind of Winzip type file compression program.
Google is your friend
Type .ZIX in the search box.

~edit~
Just to be clear, the file itself is probably not dangerous just dont download the WINZIX program and install it.
Where did you get it?
It is possibly a quicktime file but more likely it is a spyware bait file designed to get you to download Winzix software
Extension: ZIX
Program and/or Extension Function
WinZix Changed File (most likely)
WARNING: WinZix is advertised as a compression tool however it appears from analysis of the files produced that it simply adds information to a file so that WinZix needs to be installed to access it. The program contains an adware component that must be installed with the program and the EULA for that component says you cannot use anti-adware software against it. In addition, use of such software may damage the component and make it difficult to remove. FILExt has removed links to this software and advises that you install it AT YOUR OWN RISK. If you receive a "compressed" ZIX file you are advised to warn the sender and ask them to resend the file in a more conventional format (e.g., ZIP)
