Would be great to see another open world Burnout as long as they fix the issues with Paradise. It was frustrating when you ended up losing a race because of accidentally making one wrong turn, since the tracks weren't closed off at all.
@DeViLzzz It doesn't say anywhere when BC3 is going to come out, it hasn't been announced yet. Complain to Activision if you don't want military shooters coming out each year.
@Brother_Tevis That's probably true, but can you name any video game series that simply "decided it was over" once it reached the end of a story arc? MS no doubt wanted to continue profiting from the franchise, but if the games turn to out to be good quality then I don't see what the problem is. Halo isn't going to be milked the same way CoD is every year, 343 has said they're planning a 3 year development gap between each game in this trilogy.
Bungie never said Halo 3 was the last Halo game, they simply said it was the "the conclusion to that story arc". The Legendary ending in Halo 3 was added specifically to allow for sequels like this.
Asking CoD to make significant changes to its gameplay is an effort in futility. When a series breaks sales records every single year, real changes are a risk that Activision's shareholders won't allow. When the next CoD releases for the Next Xbox and PS4, you can bet there will be a real graphics improvement, but the gameplay will still be CoD 4 for most intents and purposes.
@Daian You would know, having played a console version of Diablo III, right? Perhaps you could name examples of other Diablo-type games that were ported to consoles and didn't work?
