Guess what folks? I finally got done with my list of worst games ever.
10. The Sims
Thats right! Right off the bat I name one that almost everyone loves. I got this when it first came out for the PC, because it was recommended to me from a friend that told me, "this is the coolest game you will ever play". After that conversation I purchased it and then 10 minutes later I punched him in the face. I wasted 50 bucks on this pile of crap. It wouldn't be so bad if I could sell it back and get some of my money from it, but no I had to keep it as a reminder never to listen to friends. I don't understand what the deal is with this game, you pick your character and make them live in a house and basically clean up after them and make sure they don't kill themselves, sounds like more work then anything else. The only fun I had with this game was killing my sims, you know like putting them in a room and then removing the doors so they couldn't get out, those were the days.
9. State of Emergency
Five minutes worth of entertainment. That is all I got from this game, well that and the knowledge of knowing I paid full price for this steaming turd of a game. Every new mission was the same old mission you did before, go find someone and kill them. The idea of this game was nice, too bad Rockstar didn't go the distance. I was going to sell this one back, but didn't want to go through the embarrassment of someone knowing that I bought it.
8. Beast Wars
Now you know my dirty little secret, I bought Beast Wars for the PC. Before you point and laugh just hear me out. I didn't know what I was getting into, it was a horrible mistake. Well I was a fan of beast Wars before this game, now I can't even look at that show anymore. The graphics were awful, and I am not sure but I don't believe there was a point to the game. I started the game only to find out that the land you were in all looked the same and that your animal form was pretty much pointless.
7. Family Feud
The only thing entertaining about this game was the things Louie Anderson said during the game. Trust me, if you are willing to waste a good 5 bucks, go out get this game and play it for a good hour or two and you will see what I am talking about. I like the fact that you had to scroll through all the letters to spell your answer, with a time limit. So if you were horrible at finding letters then you probably throw your console in the trash rather then play this game again. I don't even know why I bought this game, I am not really a fan and I can't stand Louie Anderson. That question will probably give me a head ache so I will stop thinking about it. Wait I have an idea, I will ask Doctor Dri.
6. Sewer Sharks
Yes, I had a Sega CD system, stop laughing at me!!! Sewer Sharks belongs in the Sewer along with every movie caption game or whatever you truly want to call it. I was like, wow these graphics look like they came from a movie. I guess it was one of those, it was a good idea on paper and then after the game was released everyone shakes there heads wondering what happened to the game industry. I guess you could describe this as DDR gone horrible wrong.
5. Friday the 13th
The only thing good I can say about this game, was that I got it for free. I really didn't understand the point of this game. You walk from cabin to cabin looking for something while running from something else. This got a great 5 minutes of play and went into my closet of games that will never be played again.
4. The Simpsons Wrestling
The only reason this is so high on my list is because I paid 40 bucks for it. This game had horrible graphics, and was so boring I actually started doing homework. Every move was the same and there was very little to keep anyone entertained for more than 10 minutes. I am a pretty big Simpson's fan but I can't see me playing this ever again. Actually I don't even consider this a real Simpson's game.
3. Ping Pals
There is reason behind this game, and as soon as I think of a good one I will let you know. I think I might have been drugged into getting this game, there is no other explanation.
2. Sky Diving Extreme
I always wanted a game based on sky diving, too bad I got this instead. This game made me never want to buy a sky diving game ever again. To be honest I really didn't know what I was to expect from this game. This was another attempt at DDR only with an extreme sport, the game told you what button to push at what time, so challenging is something that this game wasn't.
1. Beyond the Titanic
This was my first text based game, and certainly my last. There was no instruction manual, and no hints whats so ever as to how to play the game. I spent countless hours trying out different commands and the only one I could get to work was jumping overboard, which was met with a loud noise that said you died in the cold sea. Imagine being given a blank screen and no idea of what to type, that was me at 10 years old. I didn't pay too much for the game, but it still ranks as the worst game that I have ever played.
Well, there you have it. Some embarrassment and a ton of disappointment. I guess every game can't be a winner. I had so much fun doing these list I might try and do a few more. Like my 5 favorite consoles.

Some nice victims for my enjoyment.

Today I was visited by two individuals that decide that they knew exactly what I needed in life. They walked up to the door and knocked a couple of times. I made them wait of course but eventually opened the door. When I walked outside to greet whoever it was that came to see me, I noticed that they look like church goers, and guess what, they were. They decided that I needed a Bible lesson. I think I live my life pretty decent, I don't smoke, I don't have time to get drunk and I have never done drugs in my entire life and they want to tell me that society as a whole is dying, well I have news for ya I already know that and their is nothing that you or me can do to stop that. He rambled on and on about I should start reading the Bible so that I may understand life and it's meaning. Hmmm...........what if I don't want to know the meaning of life? And I wonder if he knew that the Bible is written in sort of a code, where many meanings can be described from just a couple of sentences. I could read the Bible and take the entire meaning the wrong way and by that start living my life falsely. I don't mind a preacher teaching me about religion, but I don't like strangers coming to my house early in the morning and shoving their religion done my throat. If I were to tell him my beliefs I probably would have ended that conversation in just a little under three minutes. I almost lost my cool a few times, but I held it in and just brushed it off my shoulder. I should have a Satan suit right next to the door, that way when I know they are coming I will just hope in the suit and go greet them. Or maybe some nice mentally handicapped moves, all I would have to do is roll my eyes in the back of my head and pee myself, I think that might work better.
Something different....ok, ok, it is a list. Everyone likes list.

I thought I would do something a bit different. I was sitting thinking of all the games that I have played and loved over the years, and that is when I decided to make a list of my top 10 favorite games of all time. All of these games inspired me in some way or form.
10. Super Mario Brothers 3
This was one of my first favorite games. I pretty much loved almost everything about it. Each world has something new, and there were so many secrets. Of course I was young so I had the strategy guide to help me out, but me beating it was all me. I just love the fact that it was really my brothers and he didn't really care for it too much, so basically it became mine.
9. Rise of Triad
This one is a little weird because it goes against everything that I believe should go into a list of any kind. This game was given to me as a demo, but it was a very long demo. I believe it had over six levels to play. This was my first, First Person Shooter, and not my last. I still remember the graphics, they were sort of like the original Doom only a little better. One of the cool things about this game was it had a nuclear bomb gun in it and a few other guns that would make Halo jealous. I played this game straight through twice in hard mode one day, making it one of the longest times I have played a game, 14 hours.
8. Super Mario World
The first game I played when I got my first SNES. Beat it in two days and by far one of the most memorable moments in my gaming life. My brother was jealous at first with his Sega, so that is why he traded the Sega for my SNES about a year after beating Super Mario World. But that was ok, even though I missed my SNES from time to time I still had the last laugh with Mortal Kombat 2.
7. Metroid
Me and my brother stayed up trying to beat this game when we first got it. Too bad we had no luck. We got to what we thought was the last boss, but wasn't sure of course. One of the hardest games we had ever played. After try after try after try we still couldn't beat it, and what a shame, it was due at the game store before we could beat it.
6. Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine
This game took me a little over three days to finish. For some reason this game has a small place in my heart and I will never forget it. Even though the new one for Xbox has better graphics, the Infernal Machine kills it in game play alone. I loved every level, every little aspect of this game, and the coolness of the last board.
5. Halo
I know most people will hold this higher in their list, but I am not like other people. One of the longest games I have ever played and one of the most enjoyable. At first I didn't feel the magic, but after the second level I saw myself not taking breaks and actually not eating or sleeping, just to get to the next level. Some of the greatest graphics for a console at the time. I only had one beef with this game, that long ass level where your in the sewer or something and you have to fight off a ton of the flood, I hated that board with a passion.
4. Manhunt
The sickest game I have ever played. It was more of a mix between a stealth game and the movie the Running Man. This game brought a new innovation to killing someone in a video game. I didn't get this game at first, thought it was a poor attempt to reach audiences, I still think some of that is true but when I finally got the game I was loving every minute. Couldn't get the feel for it until after the third level but when I did, I was the master at getting to the red level every time. And the pig man, what a nice touch.
3. Resident Evil 4
So many great games recently, I guess the developers finally got the right idea about how to make a great game. I wasn't a big fan of the Resident Evil series, don't get me wrong I really wanted to be but couldn't get used to the fixed camera angles. I wasn't going to even get RE4 if someone hadn't mentioned the new camera system. I wanted this game to be longer, but you can have everything you want in life. If this series continues with that camera system then I am a fan for life.
2. Grand Theft Auto 3
Ahh, number two in my list. I have been a GTA fan since number one with the camera looking down on the city. I love things new, and this was no exception. There is just something about stealing a car and then running over the owner of the vehicle that for some reason became funny in a game. Each addition to the new series of GTA has been one huge hit after the other. Number three introduced itself, and most of us excepted with open arms. Grand Theft Auto 3 holds the record for the longest I have played a game without stopping to eat or sleep. I played GTA 3 for 26 hours straight. I know, I know, I have no life. GTA has been one of the few games that I can just pop in one day and start playing, no matter how old it is or how many times I play it GTA 3 will never get old.
1. Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts took my breath away. Everything about this game was great. I never had a bad time, well unless you count me getting lost in one of the boards. The story was amazing, and I am not really a big fan of Disney but this game makes you want to become a Disney fan. This game holds my second record of longest time being played at one time, 16 hours. Even though I beat this game recently, it is still the best game I have ever played. I don't think I have every been this excited to wait for a sequel in my entire life. I only wish they would have made Chain of Memories for the PS2.
Well that was my list. Hope whoever, if anyone, read it enjoyed. I know I enjoyed writing it. Maybe next time I will make a list of the worst games that I have ever played and the record set by how little I played them.

Gaming is in my blood.
by Spiritgod on Comments
I am about to get me another xbox. I really didn't know how to start this journal entry out, so I guess that wil have to do. I am not allowed to speak of certain things on gamespot, so I will only say that this xbox is really special in so many ways. And speaking of gaming, I was at work the other day talking to one of my buddies when someone out of the blue said something to me about me not being a true gamer. Well I didn't say anything and just let him keep thinking that, mainly because I truly don't care what anyone says about me and I really don't care about the labeling of "Gamer". Well this person kept bugging me for some reason, and I am not even sure if he works were I work at, probably just a random person that likes to hang around Wal-Marts. I was sitting there talking about how the new FF game will be different from the rest when that same person said, "let me guess your momma and daddy bought you an PS2 for Christmas and you think you know everything about the gaming industry", thats when I got a little pissed. I turned to him and asked him what his problem was, and he just laughed and called me a poser. Alright no more mister nice guy. To say the least, my mouth was no longer clean after speaking to this punk. I mentioned to him what systems I have owned and how many systems I own now, I explained to him why him coming up here acting like a fool was not the mature way to make a point and how pointless his crusade was. I don't think I would have gotten so mad if he hadn't kept interrupting me while I was talking to my friend. But at last after speaking to him, he tried to save face with, "Whatever", and then left.
Have you ever wanted something, and it's not really something you purchase often? I ask this question because I recently saw a necklace and the first thought that pooped in my head was, I have to have it. This wouldn't be such a big deal if it weren't really expensive. And the simple fact that I can't find it anywhere but one store online, and believe me I have looked. I only wish it were under 50 bucks, because then I wouldn't have any issues on getting it, but over 200 always has me thinking of the benefits to my purchase.
My search for another RPG that comes close to Kingdom Hearts is still in full force. I will soon be playing Fable and I am thinking of getting Star Ocean. I don't think I can take too much fixed camera angles, and so I may not be able to finish FF X. I wonder if there are any other RPGs out there that has the camera angle behind the character? I know I am a bit picky with my playing options but I just can't play a game with a fixed camera angle, that is why I had to stay away from Resident Evil, well except 4.

Never again will the world be mixed up with my reality.

Well some how in a mixed up assortment of events I now own Final Fantasy X-2. I don't even know if I am going to play it or not, but oh well. I think I have now gotten into Chain of Memories good enough to want to play it, so hopefully it won't take me too long to get the story down.
I don't know what it is but every time I say something bad, or get angry my heart feels weak. It doesn't hurt but it doesn't feel good either. When ever that feeling comes over me I have to drop whatever I am holding and try and let the feeling subside. I wonder what it could be? I won't worry about it unless it gets really serious.

I am so excited, I am buying another console. I am not sure if I can talk about illegal gaming on here or not but I will give a hint to what it is. Take a NES, SNES, and Sega, wrap them together into another console and that is what I am getting. I hope that makes someone curious.
I used to believe in love at first site, but I don't know anymore. I used to not pay this girl any attention at work, and never really thought of her in any particular way. But one day we actually got to talking and it come to find out we have a lot in common. Whats so funny is the fact that these two guys at work that she hangs out with get jealous because she is now talking to me all the time. We are even going to the same concert together pretty soon. I think this could become something special.
It has been three days since I beat Kingdom Hearts and I can't get that song from the ending out of my head. I am even watching the movie from the end of the game on a daily basis. I will just be glad when I finish Chain of Memories and move on to KH 2, well whenever it comes out.

Well yesterday I bought Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and Final Fantasy X. So far I am not feeling the greatness, but I didn't expect myself to like KH CoM, I don't really like RPG that look like they should be on the NES or SNES. I love the graphics for FF X, but the game play isn't all that I thought it would be but I will keep at it anyway to see if it grabs my attention. I will be getting Fable and Star Ocean next, hopefully they will quench my thirst for a great game.
Is there anybody our there?..........Anyone?

Well I just finished Kingdom Hearts. I don't think I have ever been as rewarded with a final movie before this game. Everything about this game screams, "play me again, now". I loved every single aspect to this game, and I am not an RPG fan. Actually I was going for this or Final Fantasy X, and I am glad I made this choice. Now I have to wait till Kingdom Hearts 2. Man, I am so excited to have beaten that game. I even found all 99 dogs and seen the special movie at the end.
I am thinking of moving my aspirations of gaming to another form. I plan on trying out DDR. I know a lot of people think it is lame, but I just want to try it. Most of the time when I think something is stupid, I end out trying it and finding it to be not that bad and sometimes even enjoy playing it or doing it. You never know, I might even like DDR.

Well for once in my life I think I found the girl from my dream. I was leaving work today and out of the corner of my eye I saw her. She used to have blond hair, but she dyed it red. The only bad thing about it is I have never spoken a single word to her and I have only seen her maybe two times, so I wonder why I would dream about someone that I never really thought about going out with in the first place. Oh, and I went to the jewelry department to look for Jesus's military card but no luck. And I also wonder that the hell was up with the dog, I don't think she owns one. Oh well, I guess my mind was just messing with me, although she was pretty cute.
I started doing one of my Psychology test today and accidental hit the back button on my mouse, so that test is shot. I tried to fix it but it was no use, so out of 100 possible points I got 10. I just hope my teacher feels kind enough to reset it for me, but I have a feeling he won't, he will probably say something like, "you should have been more careful". Which wouldn't surprise me at all, I am used to getting the shaft from my school.
Well I think I am really close to beating Kingdom Hearts. How I love this game, well except for this one board which I could have lived without. One thing I didn't know was that Disney owns the rights to Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, which is one of my favorite movies of all time. I was just surprised that I got to walk through Halloween Town, which was the coolest thing in the game.

Why can't I remember her face?!

I hate really good dreams that you are so happy in and then all of a sudden you wake up and it's like reality just slaps you in the face with a, sorry kid this isn't your life your mind was just messing with you. I had such a wonderful dream last night that when I woke up I was happy for a good minute or so and then suddenly realized that it was only a dream.
The dream starts off with me at work. Somehow I started working on the other side of the store. I went to the back to clock in and for some reason I started running from these other two people. I ended up heading to the jewelery department and hiding behind one of the tables. I looked up for only a second to see the two people chasing me walking somewhere else to find me, but as I look up I notice one item in the counter, I couldn't make it out at first but then it became clear, it was Jesus's Military card. If seeing Jesus's Military card wasn't weird enough, the fact that it didn't surprise me kind of creeps me out. So then I got up and went to the back to go to the break room. As soon as I got there I noticed the break room grew in size, it used to be one big room, now it looks a little like a locker room with lockers and many large rooms in it. I guess I was looking for a friend or just someone I knew, but I ended up with a gun in my hand, which I have no idea where it came from. I couldn't control myself and started shooting the gun at everyone, it hit a few people but didn't do anything to them. After that was over I kept thinking to myself, "what have I done". So I ran outside got in my car and went home, now me traveling usually takes me 20 minutes, in my dream it took me 20 seconds. I got home to find that the house has changed into a mansion with a ton of secret entries and passageways. The basement consisted of one hallway with no doors, but there were little buttons here and there that would open up a room, I think there were around 10 to 15 rooms in the basement with at least 2 people sleeping per room. Well to face with my conscience I went back to work 10 minutes after I finished searching the house, for whatever it was I was searching for. When I got to work I was met with this beautiful blond female and her very large dog that she kept in the back. I fell in love with her when I first saw her and just started talking away, we set and talked for a good hour. I then grabbed her hand and asked her if she would go to the movies with me. She grabbed my hand back smiled and said yes, I thought you would never ask. That feeling felt so good. Too bad I didn't get a look at her face.
I know dreams mean certain things, but I don't have a clue about this one. And this was weird, this is the first dream where I didn't see a ton of red in it. It probably doesn't mean anything, just my mind going wild.
