4 New Reviews

I've got four new reviews up...

Street Fighter 3: Third Strike (DC)

Civilization 3: Gold (PC)

Star Wars Domination (DC)

Alien Resurrection (PS1)

I highly recommend my Alien Resurrection review. Probably the best game I've gotten all year even if it is previous-gen.

Enjoy.

Answers

And here are the answers to your questions...

Pikazilla: My favorite kind of pie is Lemon. My favorite newest movie would have to be Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. My favorite superpower is flight.

TgunXD: Neo-Nazi: I'd falsely say "I'm Jewish and get more women!" and then publicly kick him in the nads. KKK: Sneak into a meeting and yell "Someone here is black!" and sit back to watch the slaughter! Super Hero: Batman Anti-Hero: Spawn Villain: The Violator

SciFiCat: Hmmm...that's a tough one. I'm very passionate about art and fictional literature.

Thug2Wasteland: 15 years old turning 16 on July 10th and Mortal Kombat.

mitu123: My favorite Sonic game is Sonic & Knuckles. That game was a landmark for gaming tech and the Sonic series. My favorite Brawl character is of course Sonic.

Thug2 (again): My favorite artist is Gorillaz and my favorite genre of music is techno.

PrincesTwilight: Ginger Snaps, again techno and action/adventure!

Thank you all for your questions. Again, I may do another in the future. Keep on gaming!

Q&A Blog II

Seeing how I've made more friends as of late, I'm gonna give this another try. You know the drill, ask me anything you want. Ladies, you know what to ask! *nudge nudge wink wink* XD

Let's try to get a lot this time around folks. Thanks.

Sonic's Birthday!

Yes, I blog just about every day. Sorry if I'm not obeying any "Get A Life" rules.

But today is Sonic's 17th Birthday! Can't believe it's that time already! And to think today I got Sonic Underground from Netflix! XD

Happy B-Day Blue Dude and many more!

Sonic the Hedgehog, running with the quickness since 1991!

Ten Brawlers: Past, Present and Future!

Brawl was a joy to play when I rented it two months back. I'll probably buy a copy when I go get GTAIV in Knoxville. Here are my top ten favorite Brawlers from all three Smash Bros. games. Hold onto your hat!

10. Captain Falcon: My favorite racing series has always been F-Zero and the good ole' Captain takes on a somewhat humorous role in Smash Bros. He's fast and powerful and who could forget "FALCON PUNCH!"

9. Diddy Kong: The bad @$$ monkey! I've always liked Diddy, choosing to play him in Donkey Country and even enjoying the sequal with Diddy and Dixie. I love his barrel jet-pack in Brawl!

8. Mr. Game & Watch: When I first caught eye of this hidden Melee fighter, I didn't know what to think. Little did I know I was looking at Nintendo's original mascot, the one who was king before Mario was stomping Koopas! I like Mr. G&W's sporadic play style, pulling stuff out of nowhere. I also like how everyone else is 3D, while he's in pixelated 2D goodness.

7. Wario: You can't help but laugh while playing as this guido! I've always wanted to play as Wario since the Melee days (being addicted to Wario Land 4) and the dream has been realised! His combination of gross out and powerful moves makes for a fun play, however at times he can feel sluggish.

6. Fox: Yes Falco and Wolf may be stronger, but Fox is the original Luke Skywalker, Nintendo guy...anthro fox thing. Anyway his speed rivals that of Sonic and is a good balance of defense and offense.

5. Pokemon Trainer (AKA Red): Ok now this fighter was something new and interesting! Standing in the background, he would use Squirtel, Ivysaur or Charizard! Awesome! Move over Mewtwo! There was quite a funny scenario using Pokemon Trainer in Subspace Emmisary. I noticed how the Trainer himself was always ahead of the Pokemon, crossing walls and such. My brother was like " how does he do that?". I says "he found a way!" in an ominous voice! XD

4. Young Link: My favorite version of Link from Ocarina of Time and my personal favorite Majora's Mask. When a friend of mine and I first encountered him on Melee, I about died! I was so excited and determined to unlock him! He may be weaker than adult Link, but he's more agile making him and excellent combatant!

3. Luigi: My favorite of the Mario Bros! This game proves that Luigi has guts and isn't a big baby! Heck, he saved everyone elses butts from Tabuu along with Ness and King Dedede. His moveset could use some refinement, but otherwise he's fun to use. I think his intro in the Subspace story was the funniest! This game's winner is...WaddleDee! XD

2. Captain Olimar: I was surprised to see him make it into Brawl! I hadn't played Pikmin in a long time and it was a blast using him in a different situation. Shame that Captain Falcon killed all his Pikmin! XD

1. Sonic the Hedgehog: Was there any doubt? You all saw this one coming! The fastest thing alive and my video game hero belongs on the top spot! Look out Mario! In Brawl, Sonic is the fastest character and his intro at the end of Subspace was the coolest! That's my vote for Best Video Game Moment!

And those are my top ten Brawlers. Now here's a list of ten characters I'd like to see in a future installment.

10. Blood Falcon: No coincidence that both Falcons are number ten, honest! Blood Falcon I find is cooler than C. Falcon. It'd be great to see another F-Zero character who's not an Assist Trophy. I bet blood would shower from his arm during a punch! His final Smash would probably be something brutal and dark, but what?

9. Machop: My favorite Pokemon. Machop is a fighting type Pokemon and would be the best choice for Smash Bros. Plus, since he's small, he'd be fast too! His final smash would probably be evolution into Machoke with one-hit KO punches! Yeah!

8. Fushion Suit Samus: Zero Suit Samus was sexy, but I really liked the Fusion suit from Metroid Fusion. She'd be more agile than her regular suit and more powerful than her Zero Suit! I don't know what her final smash would be though.

7. Louie: Olimar's bumbling sidekick from Pikmin 2. Can't such much more than that his final smash would probably something accident prone.

6. Krystal: This is one I hoped to see on Brawl, but not as a trophy. Krystal could use her staff and speed to her advantage. Her final smash would probably have to do with her staff or dinosaurs.

5. Cranky Kong: He may be old, but I bet he could pack a wallop! Cranky's final smash would probably be rage related.

4. Waluigi: An Assist Trophy in Brawl, but a possible playable in the future. Add him and you have both the Mario and Wario Bros! Waluigi's frame would allow him to be the fastest out of all four of them. Final smash would probably have to do with tennis...I'm guessing.

3. Vanessa Schneider: Remember that Gamecube hit P.N.03? I do, it was great. I think Samus needs competition and Vanessa is the girl to do it! In her final smash, she'd dance sporadically shooting lasers everywhere!

2. Silver the Hedgehog: Saw this one eh? Silver is cool in my eyes and it would be great to see him join the fight! He has psychic abilities! That'd work! Final smash? I dunno.

1. Knuckles the Echidna: You can't say you didn't see this one coming! You can't! Knuckles is a fighter and the perfect fit for Smash Bros! Get it done SEGA! Final Smash would be like a power explosion from the Master Emerald!

There ya go. Enjoy

Make love, not war!

Five New Reviews

Five new reviews folks.

Spawn: In the Demon's Hand for Dreamcast

Marvel vs Capcom 2 for Dreamcast

Sonic Rush for DS

Majora's Mask for N64

Luigi's Mansion for Gamecube

My next review will be in honor of the late Stan Winston, Alien vs Predator Extinction. Look forward to that. And yes I stand by my comment, Majora's Mask is the best in the Zelda series.

Wow, 68 reviews already. That was achieved within a short span of three months. Cool.

Q n A Blog Part 2

Yesterday on X-Play, Tails was named number one on the top five greatest sidekicks in gaming. Luigi came in second. I couldn't stop cheering! XD

Well the ten question quota wasn't met, but TgunXD did submit quite a few, so I mind as well answer them. It's not like anyone else reads this.

favorite pokemon: My favorite Pokemon is Machop. He looks cool and he's one tough little hombre.
favorite videogame chick: That's a tough one, but I'd have to say Talim from Soul Calibur. She's not all about sex appeal. Instead she's true to herself and polite even when in combat.
favorite anime: That's easy! Fooly Cooly or in Japanese, Furi Kuri. It's funny, sexy and full of rock n roll!
favorite anime chick: Mamimi Sameji from Fooly Cooly. She's different from your mainstream anime chick. Skipping school, smoking cigs, playing video games, having emotional orgasms! :D
favorite real life animal: Uhhhhhh...I'm fond of cats cause they're easy to care for.
favorite sonic character: Other than Sonic himself, I'm a huge fan of Knuckles the Echidna. He's cool, tough, protects what he loves. I've been a Knuckles fan ever since I played Sonic 3 back in the day. Being able to play as him in Sonic and Knuckles was a dream come true!

There ya go. Maybe I'll do another one later. Ya hear that Tgun? Get those questions ready! XD

R.I.P. Stan Winston

I'll do part 2 of the Q and A next time, but enough of that.

It turns out that on Sunday, June 15th, cinematic monster maker Stan Winston died at age 62. He was battling a case of myeloma.

Winston was well known as the man who brought many creatures to life on film. He was responsible for the rampaging dinos of Jurassic Park, as well as Alien and Predator. He was also the creator of the malefactors from The Suffering and its sequal The Suffering: Ties that Bind. I am a fan of the Suffering series, which only makes it even more sad of Winston's death. I also wonder what will become of the Suffering film and even future possible sequals for Jurassic Park and Alien vs Predator.

So if you read this blog or SciFiCat's blog of the same subject, take a moment of silence and/or prayer and remember the man behind the monsters.

Q n' A Blog

Yay! I got Sonic Rush on the DS! I've just beaten Sonic's story and will get a review up when I beat Blaze's story.

Ok, so apparently people have been doing Q and A blogs recently. I got the idea from wolves1989. You all ask me questions about anything really. It could be about games, comics, movies, life, whatever.

My goal is at least ten questions. If that mark is met, I'll answer them in the next blog. Have fun!

Come One, Come All

My reviews for all three versions of Soul Calibur II are up. No, they're not each a copy, paste, edit. Each one is quite different.

I'll be posting more reviews in the next few days, but I'd like to take this time to say...JOIN THE SEXY NINTENDO CHICKS UNION! COME ONE, COME ALL!

I'm an officer, it's led by TgunDX. Check my unions for it.
