@idakooz: I disagree. There will be a gay James Bond before either a female or a black James Bond.

@inebriantia: Blake Jorgensen said: "We believe it creates a nice top line growth that's all organic from our teams, and we're very focused on making sure that it's very profitable along the way,"

A single player game like DS2 doesn't fit into the "profitable" part EA is looking for. EA wants online interaction and microtransactions. Gamers who play on-line games are more likely to buy the games new (at their highest prices) and continue to invest more money into the game. If you don't have the online component the game can be played indefinitely and cheap games can wait until the cost of new games fall or just buy it used. Once EA shuts the server down the game is useless.

Was the narrator of this video (Dan) speaking English while discussing Dragon Ball...cause I didn't understand a thing he said?

The teaser says the game "sold for more money than you might believe." It goes on to list other copies of the game in similar condition that sold for similar prices. If another similar copy already sold for $41,000 then it isn't hard to believe that this one sold for a similar price. Wouldn't the teaser therefore be labeled as false or deceptive advertising?

Also, where's the editor? Look at the last sentence. "After hearing about how much the game was WORTHY, they decided to sell." Did the original owners take the game to Wayne's World for appraisal?

Shouldn't there be public outrage that a black female wasn't cast for the role of Han Solo?

Is there much of a market for the same old Atari games that have homes on hundreds of retro consoles and game compilations? It would be nice if they updated the games for modern HDTVs and while they don't need cutting edge graphics, some more polish/eye appeal would be nice. While that would involve some degree of programming it should be anywhere near the expense of a complicated cutting edge game. Also, Atari really needs to get some of the Activision games to their retro packages as well. Particularly, Pitfall, Pitfall 2 (5200 version with the second chapter) and Hero. Lastly, Atari's best 2600 game was Solaris which hasn't been released on many retro Atari game products.

Wow, how does Mr. Pachter get so my publicity on Gamespot? If you read up on a subject you can probably predict what will happen in the future (with that subject) with somewhere near 45-50% accuracy. I've yet to see one accurate (or even a semi-accurate) prediction from Mr. Pachter. The guy has a batting average far lower than any random dude you might question on the street. He makes so many predictions you'd think he'd get at least some of them right once in a while and it's almost unnatural how wrong he is 99.99% of the time.

Seriously, if you want headlining quotes pick a few random people from the comment section and ask them about when this or that will happen. Call it Random Internet Trolls Predict the Future of Gaming...or if that's too long maybe just the Gamespot Troll Bridge. Keep records and compare the Troll predictions to Pachter's and you'd be amazed (at how right the trolls tend to get things and just how often Pachter swings and misses).

$20 more and 9 less games. I preferred the game selection on the NES Classic last year. I'd rather buy the NES Classic but not for the crazy prices of eBay scalpers.

If Nintendo really wanted to make money they should find a way to bundle it with the Switch. If nothing else you get a mail-in rebate or online code to order the Super NES Classic with the purchase of a switch this holiday season regardless of in store availability.

I fail to see the relation between Game Stop's used games and a subscription service. You don't own the games on the subscription service and the service won't have all the possible games you can buy used. A used game has residual value while the sub service has none.

As for Game Stop, I don't see why eBay hasn't already destroyed the company. You can get used games there at prices well below Game Stop's and you can sell your games there for way more (cash) than the lousy store credit that Game Stop gives you.
