Ok so if the XB1 was so named because it was the one device to rule them all, then it's not living up to its name. I should've been called the XB2, since you need two Xbox devices to do everything now.
Nothing these developers stated makes me have any desire to buy the XB1. The biggest improvement the next gen could bring is the end of loading screens and better graphical buffering (to stop those graphical failures during some high image renderings of the current generation). Bigger worlds...that sounds great and all, but worlds like Skyrim/Oblivion tend to be too big. Sometimes a more gripping central story would be better than a bigger world with more side quests. I don't want to be more social. I want more single player experiences. It's harder to program challenging computer AIs than it is to just pit two humans against each other. I don't want to have to be connected to the cloud to play a video game.
@Ninjaandy Yeah, I don't buy music unless I get a physical copy. All digitally downloaded music is sonically clipped. Sometimes it's annoying that way.
So who likes talking to machines, really? I won't go through a drive-thru, I'd rather go into the restaurant. I hate leaving messages on an answering machine...worse yet is calling up someplace only to be forced to give voice answers to a machine. Can't I just play a video game on a game console...do I have to talk to it?
Wonder what he'll be saying in January after the Wii U gets another trouncing. $300 isn't low enough to persuade someone from the PS4/Xbox. His base system needs to be $200 or less. Ditch the gimmick touchscreen controller if you have to get the cost down. If you don't move units you won't sell games. Further, why pay $60 for a game, when you can pay that same amount with a better system (PS4 or Xbox)?
