@ClaudiusCaesar There are alot of COD players who already pay for gold accounts and buy every meaningless DLC offered so there is some possibility of a MS Matrix future.

The more I think about, the more I want Microsoft to do this. Please require an online connection, and please use the Kinect to license movies to each individual viewer MS. Seriously, pretty please MS with sugar on top. I want to see what happen!!!. Do we enter in a Brave New World with Big Brother monitoring us at all times in the comforts of our own homes or do we reject this and send MS packing from the game world? Inquiring minds want to know.

@BladeStrike1234 I'd like to see them do it as well...but only if it lead's to the spectacular crash and burn I forsee for MS. Plus if MS does do this It's one console I'll have no reason to buy.

Microsoft can kill Sony by doing the following:

1) Offer backwards compatibility.

2) Don't prohibit used sales of physical games.

3) (If they really want to put some icing on the cake) allow gold members to accumulate MS points every month, say 200 points.

4) (More icing) sell digital games below the cost of physical games by at least $5, preferabley $10 or more.

Does it really make a difference who has better software tools? The consumer will buy the better product. The product that appeals most to the consumer will ultimately win. Most 3rd party publishers/developers will make games for both systems regardless of the software tools. Most publishers launch there releases simultaneously. Sony has more first party developers and therefore more exclusives. Sony doesn't require a constant on-line connection (xbox rumours are the opposite).

CD Projekt Red, it would be nice to load the physical copy of my game onto the hard drive and not require the disk to play it...since the textures/loading/gameplay are smoother when physical media are not required to be run from a blu-ray disk.

If someone wants to break into your house they will. If someone wants to steal your car they will. If someone wants to kill you with a gun (even in Great Britian) they will. Same with video game code. Really, you just need a minimum amount of protection to keep people honest. Video Game publishers have gone too extreme in there methods of preventing piracy now. It's the equivalent of protecting you home with 20' high walls, armed gaurds in the towers on the 4 corners of said walls, underground motion detectors, barbed wire on top of the walls, anti-aircraft rocket launchers, 5 different pass-codes required to enter your gates, concrete encased walls/structure around your dwelling, a body cavity search by your butler, an X-ray scanner, a wonderlic test, and a dog trained to know your scent. I.e., it's something so extreme for a situation where a simple dead lock bolt would suffice.

Witcher 1 I'm playing on normal difficultly right now. Witcher 2 I played Ioreth's story in Hard and Roche's story on Dark. In both games I only used Cat's Eye to see in the dark in the dwarven tunnels. On Hard mode I used the Kayran potion for the Kayran, but once I knew the tactics it was unneccessary on Dark setting.

I'm currently in Chapter 2 of the Witcher 1, and so far I would say the Witcher 2's story is superior. The Witcher 2 plays out like a novel, while the Witcher 1 seems to be like a bunch of little stories strung together/not completely cohesive (so far). The gameplay of Witcher 1 is similiar to playing a melee character in Diablo, and the Witcher 2's combat is a little bit more challenging. Niether combat system is overly difficult IMO.

I think CD Projekt Red need to make the herbalism aspect of the witcher more interesting in Witcher 3. If you are going to invest in that tree there needs to be more "non-combat" methods of resolving conflicts. There has to be more compelling reasons for me to take potions as well, as I pretty much ignored them in both games so far. (One thing that would be nice is if potions maintained an effect until you changed them...it's just a hassle to take a potion then 5-10 minutes later it wears off and you have to fool around with creating more).
