I just saw the Dark Sector vid from your link. WTH? The vid and the game that is released today is completely different!

I know, don't get me started. Read my blog and you'll get the full explaination.
Seems alright. x3 frags doesn't effect your gun, but the Perk 1 doesn't effect any weapon really unless you choose "Bandolier" for extra ammo. Honestly I don't even like the AK47, it's too inaccurate even in closer quarters where it gets beat out by a submachingun all the time.
My personal favorite load (which I call my Ninja class) out is a P90 w/ Red dot sight, Desert Eagle w/ x3 frag, Stopping Power and Steady Aim. It's extremely fast (maxes out mobility), powerful, and perfect for run-n-gun which is a perfect for dodging all the lame cheap martydom users out there too.
Does running a game in 1080p impact the performance?
I know from PC gaming that every time you increase the resolution it usually results in a drop in framerate. Going from 720p to 1080p adds a lot more pixels for the console to produce.

First of all, almost all 360 games, with exception of a notable few, are actually rendered in 1280 x 720p resolution and if the game "supports" 1080p, it's being upscaled. And even some games are rendered below 720p like Halo 3 rendered at 564p, and Call of Duty 4 rendered at 600p if I remember correctly, then they are upscaled to fit larger TVs. A game has to be programmed to be upscaled like in the case with Halo 3, as it does support 1080p and 720p, those are the upscale resolutions.
Now as far a framerate drops go, console games are built with a "target" resolution in mind, which is typically the highest rendering resolution they'll be using and of course 720p is the norm. 1080p rendering though is quite a daunting task though as the 360 and PS3 are both mal-equipped for handling such high output at decent framerate without sacrificing many details in the process.
