Dunno if you've played the Witcher 2. If not, then that's a much stronger game than the first one, IMO

Also Dragon Age: Origins is a great game that you can sink a ton of hours into.

Not a bad game at all.

It's a very comptetent shooter.

Just don't expect anything more from it than that and you should be perfectly satisfied with Rage

Just voicing his opinions without the game without giving in to the hype that seems to have blinded a lot of other reviewers

As far as I understand it, they pretty much have one "RTS" team and they are of course working on Starcraft 2 at the moment.

So I would be very surprised if they would start working, at least on a large scale, on WC4 before they are done with all 3 parts of SC2.

So Maybe around 2018-2020?

I'd say Battlefield from the point that if you're going to be playing the multiplayer a lot it's probably going to be a much more enjoyable experience if you jump in now, while everyone is more or less learning things from the start, than in 3-6 months, when you're going to be rolled hard if you jump in and try to learn.

Whereas Skyrim is still going to be the same experience for you whether you get it now or later.

Getting shot by frigging paintball guns should make for some more careful play, I would imagine!

Not surprising, but still looking forward to seeing some info about it.

I wonder if they're going to try to continue the more serious story that they had in GTA IV, or if they are taking it into a (slightly) more Saints Row kind of direction?

Going to be really interesting to see.

Will probably end up buying BF3 and renting MW3.

In general I prefer the multiplayer style of the BF series but I really want to play through the single player of MW3 and see all the crazy setpieces.

Hey, I recommend you that you check out my short blog post about my impressions on Forza 4, as that actually covers most of what you are asking:

Forza 4 Impressions

But as a quick response to you:

The career mode is good and takes you across the globe, so you're always seeing a new track.

There are tons of cars and the handling is really well done and the racing is fun.

It's not as big a step up from 3 to 4 as 3 was from 2, so if you're not a hardcore racing fan then it probably makes sense for you to grab it at 40 instead of 60.

Hmmm

Probably Baldur's Gate 1 and 2.

More recently I would go for Mass Effect 1 and 2 as probably my favorite RPG.
