I'd say Battlefield from the point that if you're going to be playing the multiplayer a lot it's probably going to be a much more enjoyable experience if you jump in now, while everyone is more or less learning things from the start, than in 3-6 months, when you're going to be rolled hard if you jump in and try to learn.
Whereas Skyrim is still going to be the same experience for you whether you get it now or later.
Not surprising, but still looking forward to seeing some info about it.
I wonder if they're going to try to continue the more serious story that they had in GTA IV, or if they are taking it into a (slightly) more Saints Row kind of direction?
Hey, I recommend you that you check out my short blog post about my impressions on Forza 4, as that actually covers most of what you are asking:
Forza 4 Impressions
But as a quick response to you:
The career mode is good and takes you across the globe, so you're always seeing a new track.
There are tons of cars and the handling is really well done and the racing is fun.
It's not as big a step up from 3 to 4 as 3 was from 2, so if you're not a hardcore racing fan then it probably makes sense for you to grab it at 40 instead of 60.
