And if you really want to get into turn based strategy, then I think Civ V is actually pretty good about teaching you how to play.

There's a ton of detail, but I think it is presented pretty well to the player.

Alright, doesn't sound that bad at least ;)

I actually am looking really forward to trying out Dance Central.

Also Gunslinger is supposed to be pretty alright, I hear

So I finally let the gadget freak inside me get the better of me and ordered a Kinect.

I've made a little post about why that is a scary prospect for me and what finally won me over here:

So I finally bought a Kinect

But what I basically wanna ask is; did I just waste my money or are you having good use with your Kinects?

Now that they are implementing a pet that you can trade with other players (meaning you can basically spend 10$, put the pet on the auction house and *bam*, real life money for in-game gold) I'll be interested in seeing if the player economy is going to suffer.

Picked up Titan Quest today.

2.5 euro. I'd lose money if I didn't buy it!

To be fair though, I think Nintendo is by far the worst company to keep pushing out games based on its old franschises and not risk to much with new IPs.

Or maybe it's just that they have been around the longest.

We are after all already seeing a remake of the original Halo..

I'm excited that they are making it co-op.

I just hope we see something more creative than horde style survival missions.

Could potentially be really cool.

Still, I'm really just looking forward to playing the single player.

Hi all

So I finally had a chance to play me some Rage and I gotta say that I'm both very impressed and very disappointed.

Seems like a great shooter, but I can't help thinking that ID tried to promote that this was going to be much more free roam and non-linear.

Anyways, I made a full post on my impressions that you can find here:

Rage impressions

How about you guys?

You all finding that the good shooting is enough for you to enjoy Rage or were you also expecting more than "Post apocalyptic Quake"?

Hi guys

If you're interested in the just released Tower defense / 3rd person action game hybrid Orcs Must Die, you might be interested in this very brief Q&A session I had with Robot Entertainment Community Manager Justin Korthof.

In it he talks about the teams reactions to the good reviews and the thoughts on the tower defense plus action game hybrid as an emerging genre.

It's a quick read you can find here:

Q&A with Justin Korthof

Any of you had a chance to try out the full game yet?

I played through the demo and thought it felt really cool and polished.

Might get it for some weekend fun :)

The original Command & Conquor also stands out as one of my all time favorites
